Rookie Doctor

By the time the nurses got Jerry to the hospital, they were sure he was gone. He was covered in blood and it didn't look like he was breathing.

"Well... there's nothing we can do..." one nurse said.

"Call his family and tell them the news," said another.

A doctor came rushing in with a clipboard and pen screaming, "He is not dead yet!!!"

"Really?" A nurse yelled.

"Yes According to the red line thingy on the monitor, he is still alive!" He said, pointing at the monitor.

Another nurse asked, "Are you that new doctor?"

"Yes... but that's irrelevant..."

"Oh... That makes sense." A nurse mumbled to herself.

The doctor told the nurses to leave so he could start the blood transfusion and they obeyed his orders (partly because they didn't want to see blood, but mostly because they didn't want to be around him). Once they were gone, he grabbed a bag of O-Negative blood from the cabinet.

"I have no idea what his blood type is, but anyone can take this kind of blood so this should work!"

He stuck an IV in the back of Jerry's left hand, hooked it up to the 'machine thingy' (as he called it), and began the process.
