Tommy sat in a chair, something he hasn't done much in his whole lifetime. These- these intruders have been here for three days. Tommy has tried basically anything. From attacking them with squirrels to tripping them up to being as annoying as huM@nLy possible.

Now that they have been here for three days, Tommy knows them like the back of his hand.

Phil was the dad.

Techno reads 'Art of War' nonstop.

Wilbur sneaks out nearly every night.

Wilbur kills animals to calm down.

Every one of them left for hours, coming back with strange... feelings (auras?) surrounding them.

Oh. And Wilbur hates Tommy, Techno tolerates Tommy, and Phil is "fake" friendly to Tommy.

Tommy fidgeted with his homemade fidget. Techno went out hunting earlier and Phil went out on one of those hour-long trips again. Neither came back yet. He was stuck here with Wilbur.

Maybe he could run away. Tommy kept twisting the fidget, its bendy-ness put to the test.

"Do you not have an actual fidget?" Wilbur spat out, making Tommy jump. Tommy was pretty sure he was alone moments before. But now there he was Wilbur, the boy who despises him.

"What do you mean?" Tommy hissed back, in the same tone. Wilbur scowled.

"Do you just have nothing better to do?" Wilbur made eye contact with Tommy, not that he wasn't already staring at him. Tommy just didn't look back yet, "I thought you'd have some better imagination."

"What do you mean," Tommy repeated, adding, "by that."

"I mean," Wilbur smiled an insane-ish smile, "Let's go to town."

He already hated this. Wilbur dragged him into town by his dirty sleeve.

"What are we even supposed to do?" Tommy asked Wilbur in a sarcastic manner.

"First," Wilbur scanned the bustling road, "We are going over to Niki's."

"Who?" Tommy looked up at the man dragging him along.

"Then," Wilbur smiled that sickening smile again, "We're going to have some brotherly bonding time."

"Brotherly bonding!" Tommy gasped, frustrated, "I'm not your brother!"

Wilbur ignored him. Instead, he took a swift turn, pulling on Tommy's arm.

"Ow!" Tommy yelped.

Wilbur continued through the alleyways, surprising Tommy. Tommy didn't know anyone who could transverse the streets so well. I mean, he had his own routes, but the streets? Then again, he didn't know many people... or any at all.

"Here we are," Wilbur stopped at an intersection between two busy roads. Tommy looked up at the shop in front of him, tired out of his mind.

"The Dark Boutique?" Tommy furrowed his brows then snickered, "Do you like being dark, Wilbur?" He didn't even 100% know what that meant, but he loved the reaction he got.

"That's not where we're going," Wilbur answered after glaring at the fourteen-year-old, "Here."

He gestured to a store two shops down from The Dark Boutique. It was called Fishy Biscuit Bakery.

"Huh," Tommy started to evaluate the shop, only to be pulled inside by Wilbur.

"Hey, Niki!" Wilbur pulled Tommy over to the counter, "How are you?"

"Hi Wilbur," a girl behind the counter, Niki, responded. She had long, brown hair and blonde bangs, "I'm good. How's your punishment?"

Wilbur groaned.

"What punishment?" Wilbur smiled sickenly, "There is no punishment. I have no problems in my life."

Tommy watched on, trying to figure out what the two meant. Instead, his focus wandered over to some little figurines on a shelf. Clearly, the bakery sold more than sweets.

Tommy squinted, making out the figures in front of him. First, was one with 'God of Death and Life' engraved into the base. It was wearing a grey-black cloak. He had some sort of veil covering his face and big wings the color of the cloak protruding from his back. He wore a yukata, something Phil told him about in the small amount of time with him, and sandals. His blonde hair reached his shoulders and had a few braids littered in it.

The next one had the words, 'Nature god'. This one was smaller than the first, with short, fluffy brown hair. Poking out of its hair was small antennas, like a bee. And just like a bee, the figurine had little fragile-looking wings. It wore overalls and a black and yellow striped long-sleeved shirt. Tommy decided he liked this one, even though he didn't believe in the gods.

The third one had engraved in its base, 'Insanity and Music'. He wore a trenchcoat and was holding a stringed instrument. He had a crazed look in his eyes and had his mouth open like he was singing. Underneath the trenchcoat was a yellow sweater. He wore a beanie covering his fluffy brown hair. Tommy felt unsettled as the hair on the back of his neck rose. This one looked familiar. He glanced over to Wilbur and the girl who was supposedly Niki and felt a strike of resemblance. Even the eyes had the same feel. "It's probably nothing," Tommy thought, shrugging off the feelings that told him to sneak away. If he snuck away, he'd be caught. He wouldn't admit it was a bit easier for him to have three people taking care of him.

"Tommy!" Wilbur called the boy, as he noticed Tommy had wandered to the other side of the shop, "Bye Niki, it's probably time for us to go."

"Bye!" Niki waved a small wave, smiled a small smile, "Hope to see you soon."

On the walk back, Tommy's mind was lost in thought.

"Wilbur?" Tommy built up the courage to ask the older one.

"Yes?" Wilbur rolled his eyes. He wasn't in the best mood, yet he wasn't ever in a good mood, as far as Tommy could tell.

"Why didn't you just leave me at the castle or something?" Tommy asked, legitimately curious.

"The castle?" Wilbur stopped in his tracks for a minute, then returned to the quick pace he had kept continuously. He had long legs, "Oh that. Yeah, no. Who knows what you'll do."

Tommy groaned. Honestly, he didn't mind being here, but he would never admit it. Instead, he put on a performance, acting like he didn't like the company.

"Chill out," Wilbur said, "I didn't drag you all the way out here just to see my friend."
