Chapter 6

I had spoken to the warden and Dr.lee to have Ivy be able to at least have a 30-minute session outside in the garden that wasn't close to the botanic one since that would be 'taking a bigger risk.'

I began to realize I was skipping towards her cell, thank god I was wearing flats.

And that nobody was around.

I cant wait to see Red! She'll be so happy to be outside with the sun, maybe we can show her our gymnastic routine?

I rolled my eyes, please she is not a child. We're grown adults that have Ph.D.'s

Ph.D. or no Ph.D. you know you wanna!

I get to her cell and I couldn't believe my eyes...

"Is the infamous Poison Ivy smiling?"

She turned her head to me and scowled

"Keep it down I need to keep my reputation around here," she replied with a smirk.

I giggled, "Are you ready for your surprise?"

She arched a brow, "Better not be another revelation towards my sanity."

I gave her a small smile, "No, this is just some quality time as best friends but of course it is 'part' of your rehabilitation" ending my sentence with a wink.

Then she chuckled a soft cute chuckle. It literally made my heart flutter.

Red really doesn't know how beautiful she is huh? That chuckle kinda made my tummy twirl not even Mistah J can do that

I sighed, "But sadly they need to inject you with a serum that-"

"For what?" she said her voice tense.

"I promise it won't put you to sleep, do you trust me?" I said to her, begging with my eyes.

She looked into my eyes and wow...I never took the time to really look in her eyes before. They were emerald green as if all of life were in them...I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. It was as if she was looking into my soul, and suddenly I saw a sparkle as if she had found the confirmation she was looking for.

"Okay Harleen, I trust you. This better be one hell of a surprise."

I felt myself grin from ear to ear. "I think you'll be pretty surprised"

I signaled for one of the doctors to come inside to inject her with a stunt serum to stunt her mutation enough to not cause any collateral damage.

I saw Ivy glaring at the doctor that injected her with the serum that Batman personally brought in.

That guy gives me the creeps....makes me wanna just whack him!

Ivy and I were escorted to the yard outside, where I had everything set up. We were in a secluded area with the thick 10 feet brick wall that surrounded the asylum, and around us were guards positioned 'in case something happens.' I remember rolling my eyes at that comment from the warden, but I don't blame him. No one should underestimate Ivy.

Except I can cause she is my best friend

I smiled, for once I agree with my little voice.

As we walked towards the sun, I saw as she stopped and looked up, closing her eyes and smiling.

The sun hit her face and her skin instantly rejuvenated itself, the pale vines growing on her arms turned into a healthy green, her skin wasn't pale but glowing instead, her red fiery hair seemed to be glowing as well.

I was in complete awe. Even the guards were staring at her.

I couldn't help but glare at them when they kept staring, I cleared my throat.

"We'll be fine now thank you"

One of the guards gave an affirmative nod and walked towards the way we came. I went towards the blanket that was on the ground and sat down criss-cross apple sauce.
