Sorry if this isn't how you wanted exactly, I myself haven't finished the manga but I am still going to write this considering I've already had spoilers(a lot of them) so I hope you like it.
Also Muichiro getting cut in half, never happened😀. Instead, his leg got sliced off.
Also Muichiro has a bit more personality because I HC that he slowly starts to show more of his personality if he's very comfortable around you.

Sanemi was worried, Gyomei was worried, everyone that was still alive were worried about the children.

When the remaining hashiras heard about the fight they hoped that Gyomei, Sanemi, Muichiro and Genya would make it out alive.

Luckily, Sanemi and Gyomei made it and somehow had beaten Upper Rank 1, Kokushibou. But Genya and Muichiro had life threatening injuries.

Genya was split in half and lost both of his arms, Muichiro lost a leg and an arm along with getting stabbed in the chest.

However, Genya was apparently able to regenerate one of his arms and slowly regenerate the other half of his body

with the remaining dna he had from Kokushibou, his other arm wasn't able to regenerate considering he didn't have enough dna to do so.

Of corse, he lost a lot of blood. Muichiro, while fighting Upper rank 1,

he lost his arm but managed to stop most of the bleeding, he had gotten stabbed in his chest with his own blade by Upper rank 1,

what made it worse is that Kokushibou had pinned him with the sword still impaled into Muichiro's chest and asked if Muichiro wanted to become a demon,

it would heal his arm and he'd be much stronger than he already is. Of corse, Muichiro denied the demons offer.

Later on in the battle Muichiro being able to join it again just in time, had ended up getting his leg sliced horizontally.

Which from blood lost, ended in him falling onto the floor unable to necessarily move much. Genya however was sliced vertically, as explained before he somehow was able to regenerate very slowly.

But he didn't realize this, so just Incase he didn't regenerate by the time the dna where's off he had explained to his brother how he could not die nor give up, and how he is the best person.

Kokushibou ended up realizing how he was from seeing himself in Sanemi's blade and noticed that in the place Muichiro has stabbed him,

was turning to ash. Eventually, Kokushibou was dead. After the fight Gyomei and Sanemi managed to get Muichiro back to the butterfly mansion a long with Genya.

Sanemi was thankful that his brother regenerated considering Genya was all he had left.

"It's been more than a week and they still haven't woken up!"Mitsuri cried out while Iguro was comforting her(they aren't together *yet* for manga reasons)

"I'm sure they'll be ok Mitsuri just keep preying.."Iguro had told Mitsuri, now Iguro wasn't normally the type to care like this considering he has high expectations for the hashiras but he couldn't stand seeing Mitsuri crying like this.

So he tried his best to comfort her. Tanjiro was worried as well for his friends, when he heard about the news he was devastated, but still had high hopes that Tokito-San and Shinazugawa-San would be ok.

A few days later, Genya had woken up. Although Muichiro was still asleep.

Kiyo had told the others about this after she checked on him. Sumi had put medication for both Muichiro and Genya to take once they woke up.
