I came up with this out of the blue but I hope you all like it. There might be some manga spoilers but they will most likely be minor but there shouldn't be any at all. Also this isn't modern era, it's still in the Taisho era and they are already dating. Also I made up some stuff in this like the place they went to. And let's just say the Shinazugawa brothers relationship is being repaired, they still get in fights frequently but they are still trying to get along.

1:13pm, Tuesday Afternoon

3rd POV

Muichiro was hanging out with his boyfriend Genya for a while. They'd promise each other that their relationship would stay private until they both were ready to tell the other pillars. They just talked for a bit and Genya was thinking about surprising his lover by taking him to a calming area, this area was a nice forest with a small stream that was rumored to have crystals in it, birds, green grass with no patches and had a very calming Aura. Sanemi, Had told Genya about this place, Sanemi is the only one that Muichiro allowed Genya to tell about there relationship. He was only comfortable with it because he was Genya's elder brother. Sanemi has told Genya how he had taken Giyu there for a date and that Muichiro would love it if he took him. Genya considered it. He planned to surprise Muichiro tomorrow morning with the short trip. Muichiro was wondering what Genya was hiding, it was blatantly obvious that Genya was hiding something from him, but he decided to ignore his concerns. They just chatted most of the day, Muichiro was allowed to rest considering he had injuries from a relatively strong demon and was still recovering, Genya wasn't called for a mission at the time. So they just kept talking for a while until they finally parted ways for the day.

Next day,  The Day of Surprises

Today is the day Genya planned on taking his lover out, he was a bit nervous that Muichiro wouldn't like it considering the other hashira say he's hard to impress. But Genya was sure he'd like it. He really just wore his corps Uniform, even though he didn't plan on any missions, he would need to be prepared. Muichiro was now able to put his uniform on so he wore his as well. However, Muichiro still doesn't know what Genya is planning. A few hours later Muichiro was training a bit and building his physical strength back up, Genya had came across him and had told Muichiro that he had a surprise for him "Muichiro! There you are. I have somewhere I want to take you if your free right now." He asked. Shinobu was there in the room with Kanao, and over heard the conversation. She was already suspicious of the two but normally brushed it off but now she has a feeling that the two are together. "Ara, you should go Muichiro I'm sure your training can wait for now! One of the Kakushi Members cleaned your uniform up." Shinobu encouraged while taking out Muichiro's Uniform from a small box. "Alright I'll be back Genya." Muichiro made his way to the other room to change. "I know you guys have a connection, it's obvious." Shinobu had explained. "We aren't together." Genya lied. Shinobu knew he lied but brushed it off. Muichiro soon enough came out with his uniform on. His sword was being fixed considering it had been chipped. "Come on, I know you'll like this place." "I'm coming Genya." They left the butterfly Estate and began walking. As they got closer Genya had stopped. "Muichiro come here. I need to cover your eyes." "Ok but how am I going to walk?" Muichiro asked while Genya used a Piece of fabric to blindfold Muichiro. "Don't worry, I'll lead you." Genya let Muichiro know "Alright." Genya lead Muichiro the rest of the way. Once they reached the stream, Genya unblindfolded Muichiro. "It's about....time..." Muichiro started but what he saw left him in surprise.....

Muichiro's POV

Genya had finally took the "blindfold" off my face, and as I was opening my eyes I noticed how beautiful the place was. I never expected Genya to know a place like this, nether the less know I'd like this. "This.... This is...... beautiful!"

Back to 3rd POV

Muichiro turned around and looked at Genya. "I never thought I would say this but... thank you." "It's no problem Muichiro, I never thought you would like it. I left it up to fate." Muichiro started smiling, he was just to excited to keep a straight face. Genya was shocked by this, Muichiro almost never smiled, he always had a blank face, but unlike Giyu it wasn't expressionless, it was more like a piece of him was missing. Muichiro grabbed Genya's arm and started running towards the stream. In the stream there were small shiny rocks. "Do you want to sit down Muichiro?" Genya asked "Sure!" Muichiro replied with a smile. Genya sat down and Muichiro sat between his legs facing the stream. Muichiro was picking rocks out of the stream, as he was doing that he found a small crystal. It was a very light blue or teal color, "Genya? Look what I found!" Muichiro put his hand up so Genya could see it. "It beautiful Mui. It resembles your eyes perfectly." Muichiro grew a small hue of pink on his cheeks from the complement. "Your right, should I keep it?" Muichiro asked "yes you should keep it." Genya replied. Muichiro put it next to the rocks he had collected. He does this because he likes to crack them open. Soon Muichiro felt like his hair was being pulled on a bit. "Genya? What are you doing with my hair?" Genya stopped "I was putting it up for you, you looked hot." Genya realized what it sounded like he said "I-I mean not in that way of corse, I mean you look handsome all the time but I meant you looked like you were heating up." Genya started to become embarrassed by what had happened. Muichiro started blushing a bit but didn't mind what Genya had said to him. "Go ahead, you can put my hair up however you want, after all you did all this for me." Muichiro offered, he turned his head and Genya started braiding it. "Done!" Genya told him. "It's so...different having my hair off my back. I'm normally not able to do my hair because it's to hard to brush." Muichiro admitted while playing with his now braided hair. "Why don't you ask me or one of the other hashiras." Genya was curious on why Muichiro didn't just ask for help. Muichiro looked at Genya. "I forget." "Oh right." Genya replied feeling a bit bad for his lover. "Anyway wanna help me break these rocks open when we get back." Muichiro smiled while asking this question. "Sure Mui. But it's getting close to evening and demons will be out soon." Genya stated. "I have some wisteria, so when we walk back demons shouldn't come near us at all. "Alright we can stay for 5 minutes them we have to go." Genya let out a small laugh when he said that. Around 5 minutes later it was sunset and demons would be most likely starting to apear so Genya woke the smaller boy up and they got up "Genya, I would love it if you took me here more often, the aura is beautiful." "Sure, I can take you here anytime you want." Muichiro grabbed Genya's hand, and they started walking back. Muichiro have Genya a peck on his lips, "I love you Genya, and I'll never forget it." "I love you more Mui." They both made it back safely with no demon encounters, thanks to the wisteria.

I hope you liked this idea of mine, I came out with this out of the blue. I have two stories I'm working on so I plan to get them out soon😊. Also midway on Muichiro's POV I completely forgot I was writing in him his and not 3rd, gomen for making his so short.
