Note: I originally planned for Genya to wear a purple suit but but none drew me in or none fit her. Let's just say they are in the same grade because Muichiro was given the opportunity to skip a *few?* grade(s).

Muichiro's POV

It was 3 days until prom day and I still didn't have a date or dress. I do have a crush but I know she'd reject me if I asked her to go. So to take my mind off her I went to buy a prom dress, Shinobu and Mitsuri insisted that they'd come.

Mitsuri and Shinobu are already in university while I'm only in high school so they wanted to pick out my dress.

Shinobu and Mitsuri came to pick me up, it was Shinobu's car. Her car was silver and it was pretty comfortable, nothing too special.

"Hi Mui! I'm so excited to help you with your hair and make up!!" Mitsuri was clapping her hands excitedly. Shinobu smiled "calm down Mitsuri, we still have to get her dress." Mitsuri just giggled I took my small teal colored bag off.

It had pins of different shows including the one I acted in with Mitsuri and Shinobu along with some others. "Do you think people will recognize us? I don't feel like dealing with it today." I asked while sitting back in in the car seat.

"Well It's been a good while since we finished season 1 and Mugen Train so people shouldn't immediately recognize us, however I do recommend using a different name." She told me.

I took her word for it considering she's always been smart.

Once we got to the mall I put my bag back on and started going in with Mitsuri and Shinobu by my side. "So what do you have in mind?" Shinobu asked me, I'm assuming it was about my dress. "I don't know, I guess you can surprise me."

"My my, I have the perfect idea." She responded while holding her finger up.

It's been a whole 4 hours and it's now 5pm, my legs are killing me and all I want to do is sleep. Luckily we got the dress but we're going to do my hair tomorrow and after school Mitsuri is going to come over and do my makeup.

I took my shoes off and placed them on the shoe rack, I dropped my bag on the floor and threw myself on the couch without realizing Yuichiro was there. "Muichiro what the hell don't just leave your bag on the floor." He sounded annoyed but I was already asleep by then.

Prom day

It's now prom day and I already have my hair done, it's nothing special it looks exactly the same just curled and my dyed ends have been touched up. I saw my crush right there talking to Tanjiro, They seemed close but I already know that He likes Inosuke.

"Oh hi Muichiro! Come here I want you too meet Genya." I heard Tanjiro call out for me, He is my best friend so of course I listened.

"Who's this Tanjiro?" Genya asked, we've only ever seen each other on set so she doesn't know me that well *yet*. "Her name is Muichiro. You told me you still need a date for prom so you can go with them!" He said this, this comment made me blush. I saw Genya blush as well. "Huh? I'll think about it." "Well you only have until last period so I suggest you think on it now.

*RING*

And there's the bell. I walked away and headed to class.

During 1st period I couldn't stop thinking about it, as much as I wanted to be the one who was asked out, I'll be the one who does it. "Tokito! Are you even listening?" My teacher yelled at me like the world was about to end.

"Ah! Yes of course Ma'am."

"Alright, then read Paragraph 6 out loud for the class." She called me out once again and I had no choice but to answer.

Once I finished I sat and listened as she "praised" me for how well I read once again.

After 1st Period I had to make a quick stop to my locker, I had forgotten my textbooks for next period. Once I got there, there was a note in it that read 'During Lunch, come to the rooftop. I have something Important I want to discuss with you. - Genya' I shrugged it off and contained my anxiety.

It was now lunchtime and I made my way too the roof, I wandered around it looking for Genya until I finally found her. "Hey um Muichiro right?" "Yes....why exactly did you want me to meet you here?" I still contained any anxiety. "I was wondering if you would go to the school dance with me. Of course if you say no I understand." She explained nervously. I was shocked that this would happen, I kind of felt like crying tears of joy like how a lover would react to their significant other proposing.

"Y....yes I'd love too." I gave her a soft smile in return. "Great, I'll pick you up around 6pm after school. Be ready." I'd never seen her smile like that, but before I knew it she ran and soon enough school let out and it was already 5:48. Yet I wasn't even dressed properly yet. "Muichiro. Stop daydreaming, you need to get your dress on Genya and Sanemi will be here at any moment to pick you up." Shinobu snapped her finger in my face to get my attention.....Oh shit. I quickly got up and grabbed my dress, I went in the bathroom, put my corset on and fitted into my dress perfectly. I took my hair alose while it fell to my back curled lightly with the teal hair dye at the very end.

"I'm done." I stepped out the room, Mitsuri was in tears with her phone out for pictures while Shinobu had a whole camera in her hand. "You kids really do grow up too fast..." She stated. "You look amazing!!!" Mitsuri Excitedly claimed as she wiped the tears from her face. "Thank you, for everything.." I told them.

Right after that there was a knock on the door, it must have been Genya. We traveled downstairs where Yuichiro was practically passed out. We opened the door and....she looked stunning as always..

she had a slick purple dress on, it was Beautiful. "You- You look gorgeous Mui." Nickname? Huh. "Same goes too you."

Sorry this update too a few months, School has been a lot and my mental health is getting a little better but still continues to differ a lot. Sadly, this one-shot book is going to come to an end until further notice. I won't mark it as complete yet but please don't expect any updates unless its about my decision on if the book is done or not. I have had a amazing time writing this book, and I'm glad it did so well from June to now. I am severely thankful for you all's support and understanding<3
