I'm doing this bc it's taking me a few to finish my other so no this ain't a stall💀. Yes I'm feeling better from when I wrote the A/N. But hope you like it. Also Muichiro doesn't have amnesia but he does have memory problems. Also should I keep doing the whole plot before the storyline or get right to the point, I'm ok with either one, but I wanna know which one you prefer.

I made Yuichiro a little nicer but he still is a bit mean at times.(I started writing this before I found out Yuichiro's full personality)Also their parents are not alive, if anyone died from a demon in this modern era AU they will be alive, but if they died from illness, accident, etc. then their still dead(-Tanjuro).

Muichiro was practically half way sleep, he tried staying awake but he couldn't help that Math was so boring. He felt kind of off as well, he noticed that he was coughing a lot along with feeling drowsy when he got up in the morning. "Tokito, wake up. Now isn't the time to sleep." His teacher had called him out, although it's always been hard for anyone to wake up Muichiro by force, even his brother Yuuichiro. Once he's out he's not gonna wake up for a while. "Tokito-kun, you need to get up!" Nezuko whispered in Muichiro's ear.... nothing happened. Nezuko kicked Muichiro's ankle, she's always had a strong kick, similar to how her brother, Tanjirou has a hard forehead. That kick somehow managed to wake Muichiro up a bit, he looked around forgetting where he was. Then realized that he was in class. "It's about time you've woken up Tokito." His teacher stated "Yeah, yeah..." Muichiro said feeling kind of irritated. "Hey, Nezuko, what did I miss?" He asked hoping she would catch him up with the class. They both were relatively smart kids but Muichiro always losing focus was a pain in the ass for Nezuko, but he pulled through it. "You missed a lot dummy, you need to start getting sleep when you can. Your more tired than normal today." Nezuko explained. "I am getting sleep, it's just that I'm tired and I don't want to be here.." Muichiro complained. "Whatever, I'll catch you up after school today." "Ok.." Muichiro replied.
School's out

"Now, do you want to come over to my house or u want me to come to yours? this way I can catch you up on homework." Nezuko asked. "Um I guess you can come over to my house so we can study." Muichiro replied. 'Shit, that's right. Genya's coming over after school... hopefully he won't mind Nezuko there.' Muichiro realized. "Hey Mui? You good?" Nezuko saw Muichiro look spaced out so she waved her hand in his face. "I-oh yeah I'm fine.." Muichiro assured. "Ok...? Anyway finish packing your bag, and what time should I come over to help?" "Ah! Well I guess, you could come around... um...5pm if that's ok." Muichiro told her. "Alright, I just have to make sure it's ok with Onii-Chan." She replied, soon enough, they both waved at each other when it was time to part ways for now.
At home, 3:20pm

"It's about time you got home Mui, what was taking you so long!" Yuuichiro had asked annoyed but not in a bad way. "I was talking with Nezuko, Nee-San, and she's coming over to catch me up in one of my classes." Muichiro told his brother. "Whatever, and are you feeling alright? I heard you coughing a lot this morning when I woke up." "I'm fine Yuuichiro-" Muichiro replied, while at the end of his sentence let out a small cough. "Ok just call me if you need something!" "Ok Nii-San!" Muichiro made his way upstairs and put his stuff away for the day. After he checked the time and saw that it was only 3:32 so he decided to take a nap, after all he didn't want to dose off when Nezuko and later on when Genya comes over.
What Happend to Nezuko? Let's see what she's up to....

"Welcome back Nezuko!" Kie welcomed Nezuko back home. "Onee-San! You back!" Hanako gave Nezuko a hug, welcoming her home, Tanjiro had already gotten back home a while ago but he was in his room studying because he had a test coming up. "Haha, hello Hanako, Takeo and Shigeru. How were you all today?" Nezuko let out a small chuckle. "It's been great Onee-San!" Hanako had told her sister excitedly, "It's been alright I guess.." Takeo had told her, "It's been awesome!" Shigeru had explained happily. "Well that's great you guys! How's Onii-Chan doing." "He's doing just fine Nezuko, now I need you to take Rokuta up to his room while I make dinner alright." Kie asked Nezuko and of corse Nezuko took her little brother up stairs for her mother. Rokuta's room was next to Tanjiro's so Nezuko could say hello to him on her way there. "Hello Onii-Chan.." she said carefully not to wake her little brother up. "I'm just fine Nezuko, I'm just studying." Tanjiro explained while giving a soft smile. "Alright, And don't over work your self.." she replied while walking away taking Rokuta to his room. She slid his door open and sat him down to sleep, after she quietly went back to the kitchen and checked the time 'damn it I'm late.' She realized that she was late to visit Muichiro and help him get caught up. It was around 4:57 at the time. "Mom I'm going to Muichiro's to help him study!" She shouted as she ran out the house. "Alright just be back by 6 hun!" Kie assured. She was in a rush because she realized that Zenitsu was going to come over around 6 for Tanjiro and she wanted to see him.

Muichiro was still asleep, he hadn't woken up once since he got home. Yuuichiro was getting a bit worried for his younger brother. So he decided to see if Muichiro had a fever, while he was looking for the thermometer he hear someone knock on the door, "Coming!" Yuuichiro yelled out. Once he opened the door he saw Nezuko, "Oh hello Yuuichiro, is your brother here still? He hasn't replied to my texts or calls." Nezuko asked, "He's been asleep since he got home, you can take your shoes off and come with me." "Ok!" Yuichiro let her inside, she took her shoe of and placed them to the side and followed the elder twin. Yuichiro grabbed the thermometer, he figured that he would check when Nezuko left. They made their way to Muichiro's room and Yuichiro went over to wake him, "Muichiro! Get up Nezuko is here!" Muichiro started to wake up, he started coughing a little. "Muichiro are you sure you want to study today we can always do it on Sunday if your feeling better?" Nezuko asked feeling a bit worried for the boy. "Muichiro, if your sick just say so!" Yuichiro was beginning to get annoyed but realized the promise they had made after the argument that they had, it was the worst one they've ever had. They promised to each other...... 'No matter how badly it hurts, we must be their for each other. No matter if one if mad at the other, we have to stick together.' Yuichiro tried to be a bit nicer after that, but of corse for him it was hard, Muichiro had always been like their Father, a dreamer, who believed he could do anything as long as he just tried. " I told you I'm fine Nii-San, and Nezuko you don't need to worry about me." Muichiro had explained. "If you say so Muichiro..." Nezuko replied, she knew very well that he was sick but didn't feel like arguing with him. "Whatever, I have things to do, call me if you need something brother." Yuichiro told him. Once Yuichiro left Nezuko sat at Muichiro's desk and started getting their work out so they can start. "Ok I got everything out, we can start now." "Ok." After that They began studying.

"Ok do you think your caught up? I have to be home by 6 because Zenitsu is coming over." Nezuko asked Muichiro who still looked drowsy but somehow kept sitting up. "Um, I think I'm ok now. Also, what's going on between you and Zenitsu, every time I see you with him you blush a bit." Muichiro asked knowing damn well she had a crush on him and knew Zenitsu liked her back. Nezuko has a slight hue of pink on her cheeks from the question but shot right back at Muichiro by asking "Are you and Genya dating yet? It's obvious you like him." Muichiro was a bit surprised and got flustered at the same time "No we aren't dating*yet*, but he's coming over today to hang out-" Muichiro had felt like he was getting a headache but tried to ignore it. "Yeah yeah I know he likes you back." "Whatever." "Anyways, I need to go now." Nezuko got up and got her bag which was already packed, and Muichiro came with her to walk Nezuko to the door. "Bye!" Nezuko shouted. Muichiro just waved and slightly smiled. "So, she had to go?" Yuichiro asked, "yes she had to go, and Genya's coming over in a few minutes." "Wait...." Yuichiro threw the Apple core away and continued "the kid you have a crush on..is coming over?" Yuichiro had said feeling a bit protective of his younger brother. "Yes...? I trust you won't say anything about it." Muichiro stated "Don't worry I won't." Yuichiro grabbed the thermometer "only if you take this!" Muichiro started saying "I'm not sick so why do I need to take this??" "You've been Coughing, Sneezing, drowsy, cranky, etc. why else would I make you take your Temperature?!" Yuichiro pointed out "fine. I'll take it." "Good." Yuichiro handed Muichiro the thermometer, Muichiro put it in his mouth and they waited. As they were waiting they heard a knock on the door. "Thn must be Genya!" Muichiro sounded a bit excited but his words were muffled from the thermometer. "I'll go get the door come on." Yuichiro called. "Mhm." Muichiro said with the thermometer in his mouth, as he said that the thermometer beeped. He took it out his mouth and looked at it '102.6, Damn.' Muichiro thought. Yuichiro opened the door, "Hello Genya." "Hi, is your brother home?" Genya asked curious of where The younger twin is. "Yes he's home, come on in." Yuichiro welcomes him but he was actually feeling a surge of protectiveness, was Genya the right person for his brother? Muichiro was In the kitchen taking his temperature over and over again, he refused to believe he was sick. But every time it showed as 102.6. Yuichiro led Genya to the kitchen "He's in here come on." "Alright" 'Mui's brother is very different from him it's odd.' Genya thought, these twins are different, they have completely different personality's ones kind and a big dreamer the other is mean and hard working. "Genya! Hi!" Muichiro went up to Genya and hugged him trying to avoid the conversation with his brother, "Hey Muichiro." Genya's face grew a bit red and Yuichiro was just annoyed " ok ok, Muichiro what did your temperature say?" Muichiro let go of Genya. Genya was of corse very confused of what was going on. "It said 102.6." Muichiro admitted. "Damnit Muichiro, you have a fever and I have things to get done!" Yuichiro had explained. "Mui your sick?" Genya asked, "No I'm not, the thermometer must be broken." Yuuichiro rolled his eyes. "As much as I don't like you..." he went up to Genya, "I need to take care of him because I have things to get done." Yuichiro requested. "Um sure I guess." Genya had replied. "Good now his room is over Their and the medicine cabinet is right over here. Also, is he gets cranky or clingy it's normal, he like that when he's sick." Yuichiro gave him the instructions and went back to cleaning up the house and all. "Muichiro, lets go to your room you need to rest." "Fine, but just know I'm not sick!" Muichiro reassured. "Heh, yeah sure you not sick." Genya had joked. They went back to Muichiro's room and Genya somehow managed to get Muichiro to lay down

Once Muichiro was laying down Genya put a cold cloth on Muichiro's head and put a trash can next to his bed just Incase Muichiro needed to throw up. "Are you comfortable Mui?" Genya asked. "I'm fine.." "ok then.." it was a bit of awkward tension between them. "Genya? Can you get me some tea?" "Sure, Ill be back." "Thanks!" Once Genya got back with the tea, Muichiro sat up so he could sip it. After a few sips Muichiro could feel it come up but tried to suppress it "Mui, if you need to throw up, throw up in this!" Genya lifted the empty Trashcan to Muichiro. Muichiro started to feel it and ended up throwing up, he got a little on himself but most of it in the trash can. He kept going for a few seconds then finally stopped. Genya used his free hand to pull Muichiro's hair back during it. Muichiro coughed a bit then played back down feeling exhausted, he wiped the tears that had ended up coming down is face from the pressure. "Are you ok now Muichiro?" Genya asked "I think so, but can we watch a movie because I'm bored." "Sure what do you want to watch?" "Any horror movie is ok, unless you can't handle that type of stuff." Muichiro teased. Genya rolled his eyes while letting out a small giggle "You wanna watch it in the living room or-??" "Yeah, but can you carry me because I don't feel like walking." Muichiro had told him, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Sure, I'll set you on the couch and if you want I can make popcorn." Genya had told him. Muichiro sat up and allowed Genya to pick him up, Genya had carried Muichiro to the living room and set him on the couch, after he want into the kitchen to find popcorn. Once he found it he put it on for 1:00. "I picked a movie, come on I don't wanna be alone!" Muichiro complained a bit "I'm coming let me just put it in the bowl, I'll be right out!" Genya replied. Shortly enough Genya came back with the popcorn, thankfully, Yuichiro is out right now working, him and Muichiro have small part time jobs considering they live alone most of the time, yes they get visits from family members, but the refuse to live with them. "I changed my mind, I wanna watch something else that's not horror themed." Muichiro claimed "oh ok, well what do you want to watch??" Genya asked "I don't know...maybe... Cruella! It's new and I haven't seen it yet." "Alright, you can put it on." Muichiro put on Cruella and they sat through it, enjoying the movie so far.  About 1 hour into the movie Muichiro began to feel a bit sleepy again but tried to stay up. He ended up resting his head on Genya's shoulder, when Genya realized he started blushing a lot, he really liked Muichiro but didn't know when it would be a good time to confess. 'Should I tell him now...I don't want to wait any longer...' Muichiro thought. "You know..." Muichiro started "What is it??" Genya asked a bit confused but still had a pink tint on his face from a few seconds ago. "I know this will sound weird but, I've always liked you, and by that I mean I love you. I didn't know a better time to tell you so I'm telling you now." Muichiro had finally confessed to Genya, Genya? Well he just stopped working, he became a blushing mess while also surprised that Muichiro even liked him. "Hey! Genya! You good?" Muichiro waved his hand in Genya's face, "Yeah, Yeah I'm fine and also I like you a lot as well." Genya replied. Muichiro was a bit surprised that Genya actually accepted his confession. Muichiro smiled a bit, and it was a genuine smile, one he rarely does, he normally only smiles when he laughs or teasing some one. Seeing his genuine smile made Genya smile as well. "I'm glad you like me, I don't know what I'd do without you in my life." Genya had told his new lover, "Yeah I don't know what I'd do without you either." Muichiro had explained. For the rest of the movie they fell asleep cuddling if you would say.
Small bonus:  Yuichiro had gotten home a bit late, but when he got home he noticed his brother and Genya sleeping on the couch. He was getting a bit upset but then thought to himself '*sigh* Maybe you are the right one for my brother...' Yuichiro rarely smiles but seeing his brother finally happy with someone made him smile a bit. He got a blanket from Muichiro's room and spread it out on the couple. Then went up to his room and got ready for bed.

🥀Sorry it took so long but I'm glad I got it out. I'm still working on another request although I'm in the middle of writing it. It should be out soon. Now that I'm on my summer break I am able to write more as well as be consistent with my writing. Also to the question I had in the beginning of this one shot, I am ok with either option or I can do both. Anyways...
