The light fell on my eyes as I opened them. Looks like it was a new day.
I got up from my bed and looked around my room. There were moving boxes in each corner.
I opened my bedroom door, only to see a hallway leading to the bathroom and another room. As I went to the bathroom and quickly scurried to the bathroom mirror.
It was my face. Just...4 years older than my HeadSpace me. I was wearing a black cardigan over a white t-shirt. Heh, a certain someone's speciality. My expressionless face along with the classic cold eyes looked over to the sink. It was time to brush my teeth.
After that happened, I had to go to my room, and answer the voicemails from my mom. I clicked on the button of the landline phone, and it played a recorded message.
"Hi Sunny! It's your Mommy. How are you doing? I'm sorry for leaving you alone like this, but we are moving very soon. Now I know you haven't been very social, but why don't you say goodbye to your old friends? Your friend Kel has been trying to reach us after he saw the moving sign right by our front yard! I love you sweetie, make sure to do your chores. XOXO Mommy."
Oh right, I had completely forgotten. We were moving, right after seeing the moving boxes in the corner of every room, and near my laptop.
Wait a minute, did Mom say Kel was trying to reach us? I blinked in surprise.
It has been 4 years since I've socialized and reconnected with my old friends. And too make things seem more confusing, the recent dream I had in headspace was even more confusing. What did Basil mean..? Why has everything been so confusing lately?
The doorbell rang. I flinched a bit, and ignored the list of chores I had to do, which was sitting beside a little table near the door.
I breathed in and opened the door, walking to the stairs.
The stairs. I couldn't bring myself to walk down. I looked at them. Why did they look so off..?
Why were they so long...?
I was afraid. I brought myself to go down the long stairs. Even in broad daylight, I could feel my surroundings grow dimmer, and darker.
There were hands coming out to get me. I shook my head to try to take the fear away. I walked faster, where I saw a glistening light. It was a knife on one of the stairs.
I rushed towards it to avoid the hands coming closer, I grabbed the knife hoping it would do something to protect me, when suddenly I saw it.
A huge hand. Coming from behind, trying to grab me. I ran down this infinite staircase with speed. It was still coming, faster.
The hand grabbed me, and I was facing something.
