Kel and Basil were still looking at me. Kel grabbed the knife and said, "SUNNY. That's dangerous. Why did you have this?! You already hurt Aubrey, and now she's gone and we don't know what she took.." He silently grabbed the knife away and held it up high, as I was trying to reach it.
Basil looked, and slightly giggled, but he then spoke finally. "She um..took the photo album from me.."
Kel and I looked at Basil. "She took the photo album from you?!" Kel was shocked, I mean I kind of expected Aubrey would take something at this version of her.
Kel suddenly looked determined. "Don't worry Basil, Sunny and I will help you retrieve the photo album!" He then suddenly put his hand on my shoulder. "Right Sunny?" He still kept the knife away from me.
After a long while of being shut in,I come back to a quest. I looked at Kel blankly and nodded. Then I saw Basil look even more nervous than before. "Thank you so much, but erm...I need to go home, my grandma...is quiet sick.."
Kel patted Basil, "Don't worry! Want us to walk you home?" Basil looked at me brightly, then at Kel. "Sure!" He softly smiled.
Walking felt like a struggle, everything felt so different yet so similar. I wondered, what did Basil's house look like? In my dreams, it was a large shoe, and the pathway had flowers in every corner that he grew. Basil took a peek at me from behind and then quickly looked forward. Alright then, that was a bit awkward.
Finally, when we reached. I took a good look at the exterior of Basil's house. It looked like the neighborhood's house. It wasn't a shoe, but it did have that color. It was one story, and had flowers, like in HeadSpace.
Basil walked towards the door, and looked at us. "T-Thank you again guys..." He stood there.
Kel gave a thumbs up, "Of course!" He as usual grinned, like always.
"Y-yeah....S-sorry you had to be troubled and retrieve t-the a-album for me!" He looked sad. Then stared at me. "I wish, what if it never happened..?"
Did he actually just say that? I couldn't process those words. The dream Basil, had did the exact same, stare dead straight at me, and say those words.
