A name rung in my ear. "Mari", "Mari" , "Mari" It was constantly repeating. I wasn't taking in notice of my surroundings, but when I was I looked at flashing images before me.
Basil, not wanting us to go. Us, talking to everyone in the neighborhood about Aubrey's whereabouts. Confronting Aubrey with the gang at our old hangout spot. Aubrey pushing Basil in the water, as I jump in to save Basil, but my fear of drowning gets to me, and something attacks.
Hero, saving me and Basil. He looked older than in headspace.
Aubrey apologizing to all of us. All of us are hanging out.
I suddenly saw flashing images, from my recent dreams.
Basil gone missing, Us meeting new foes and friends along our ways. Blackspace, and Whitespace! And then HeadSpace areas.
Sweetheart.
Captain Space Boy.
Sprout Moles.
Pluto.
Mr. Jawsum....
My friends...
Mari.
My older sister...
Mari....
There was Omori, right in front of me. Looking expressionless. He then opened his mouth and said this.
"You loved her, and you killed her."
I jolted forward, awake.
Where was I..?
I heard yelling. I tried to adjust my vision. And as I adjusted it, I saw someone looking at me angrily.
It was Mari.
I looked over and saw a broken violin on the floor.
This can't be happening.
Not again.
This was my fault.
"Sunny?! Where are you even looking?! Listen to me instead of looking so blankly like you always do."
She was enraged.
"You broke the violin everyone bought for you. We all bought this for you."
I didn't know what to say. It was my fault.
She tried to grab me,
No no. I'm gonna push her, and it's gonna be the same. This is all your fault. Everything is.
You loved her, and you killed her.
I let her grab me. I didn't want it to happen again.
She got a hold of my arm, and stared straight to my face. "WELL?! We were supposed to have our recital together. Why are you so ungrateful?!"
I looked away. This hurt. I couldn't do this. I couldn't say anything. I knew what she was gonna say. What am I supposed to do?!
Everything is my fault.
