PREVIOUSLY

I buy the gift for Harry and meet up with Ron and Hermione at Zonko's. I buy a few joke toys and we all leave for the castle.

We meet up with Harry in the great hall just in time for lunch.

"Harry can we talk?" I ask

"Uh....... yeah sure," he said slightly hesitating.

I take him to a corner in the corridor.

"Harry...... I am extremely sorry for what I said before. I hope you can understand,"

"it's ok" he replied back with a smile.

"I uhh I have something to do, I gotta go," he said and left.

"Harry I-".

I stood there dumbstruck with a frown on my face.

After a few seconds I decided to go to the great hall to get some lunch.

I saw Chris sitting in the furthest corner of the Slytherin table along with Blaise, so I decided to join them.

"Hello boys" I said.

"Y/N, hey! come sit with us." replied Chris.

We talked until the end of lunch.

The rest of the day was pretty genuine, not boring as such. I completed my assignments and Snape's long ass report he gave us yesterday.

After finishing my work I decided to meet up with Harry and give him his gift.

I went down to common room to find myself alone.

I was just about to leave the common room..until something shiny caught my eye.

It was a ring.

I pick it up to examine it.

It was a silver ring with a dark green emrald embedded on it. It had beautiful detailing on it. I turned it over to examine it further. I found a small inscription on the inside of it, 'M' .

"Now this is a pretty ring" I say to myself.

I put it in my pocket and moved ahead with my plan.

As I was walking through the halls, I felt like I was being followed.

I turned around to see if anyone was there....and the halls were empty.

As I turned back.....

"AHH JESUS!"

"Hello Y/N," said the twins in unison.

"Jeez you guys scared me" I said shaking my head.

They just laughed in response.

"To what do I owe this pleasure?" I asked.

"We have planned something.....and we need your help," said George with a mischievous smile on his face.

"ok.....spill!" I said while smirking.

"Nahhh not here, meet us outside the great hall after lunch tomorrow," replied Fred.

"Ok cool see you guys then!"

"Au revoir!!" they said in unison and left.

I chuckled at their behaviour, and started moving towards the Gryffindor common room.

I reached outside the Gryffindor room, and saw some commotion going on.

"What's going on?" I ask
