~Previously~

We talk for about what feels like hours until we see Harry come in through the doors with some soup in his hands.

"AnYwAys... I'll let you two be alone.... if you know what I am saying," says Chris while giving a sly wink and pointing two finger guns at me.

And with that Chris leaves for his dorm

"What was he doing here?" Asks Harry with jealousy in his eyes.

"Like a normal friend would do? visit their friend,"

"Right," he says with a stern voice.

"Here's your soup..."

" Also that reminds me, Snape had inquired about you. Wasn't quite happy with you helping 'Mr pOtTaH',"

"And why is that, may I ask?" I asked, feeling slightly suspicious.

"I have no idea. We barely have any interaction, so asking him... I don't think that's a very good idea," he says.

"Ok..." I say while enjoying my soup.

I finished my soup and kept the empty bowl on the side table.

While I was keeping the bowl, I saw something shining on the edge of the table.

I looked back at Harry to see if he was looking at me but he was busy tying his tie, so I decided to pick that thing.

Wait a damn min-

This is exactly the same kind of necklace that I saw in Malfoy's hand when we were at Hogsmeade.

I took the necklace and hid it in my robe and pretended like nothing has happened.

I turn back to look at Harry and he's still struggling to put the tie back on.

"Oh God, give me that,"

I take the tie and put it around his neck and tie it. While doing so I could feel his eyes on my face.

"There, wasn't so hard now was it?" I say with a smirk while looking at the tie.

I finally meet his eyes, we stare at each other for a few seconds until we burst out laughing.

Now there was a dead silence. Not the awkward kind though, it was nice and calm.

"Well I think I should get going. It's getting late". He says.

He begins to leave until I decide to speak up.

"Hey, Harry!" I yell. "Forgetting something?"

"Uh? What could I be forgetting? Cause I don't remember bringing anything besides the soup?."

I got up from bed and walked towards him and pulled him into a hug.

He was taken aback at first but hugged me back.

"Thanks, Harry, for everything, and the soup,"

"Anything for you, Y/N," he says.

He gives me a small smile and leaves the hospital wing.

I go back towards my bed and lie down thinking about random things whilst staring at the ceiling.

Until I remembered something...

Why did Draco leave his necklace for Pansy on my table?

Guess we'll have to find out...

The next day, I pack up my things from the hospital wing and leave for my dorm.

It's still early in the Morning and so thankfully no one's out of their dorms currently.

Thank God no one's out.... I am not in the mood to answer their burning questions.

As I reach the Slytherin common room, I walk towards the stairs to get to my dorm until....

I see him.

Malfoy.

"Ain't it a bit early for breakfast? Where are you going?" I ask out of sudden interest while raising one of my eyebrows.

"None of your business," he says without sparing me a glance and walks past me, our shoulders brushing each other.

I reach my dorm and I see Pansy Puginson wide awake..... Reading something.

Wait lol, is that a book?

Didn't think she would be the reading type.

I chuckle to myself and her head jolts up in my direction.

"What do you think you're laughing at?" she sneers at me as she shuts the book close and throws it in her nightstand drawer, locking it.

"Nothing of your concern" I reply back.

What could she be hiding 🤔

And me being me wanted to know what it was, but now was not the time.

Guess we have a new mission now, wait until Chris hears about this.

I think to myself with a small smirk plastered on my face.

"Stop smirking like an idiot Y/N, it's annoying," says Pansy.

"No, I won't. And why are you looking at me if it's annoying, eh?" I say, raising both of my eyebrows.

She doesn't answer. Just groans in response and hides under her blanket.

I started with my daily routine, knowing it was still early and I had 2 hours before breakfast. I took my sweet time to get ready which most definitely pissed Pansy off as I took an hour and a half in the bathroom.

After I got ready I decided to sit in the common room and read a book while waiting for Chris.

I sat on the furthest couch where I was not visible to others. It was near the window.

You could see that beautiful black lake from here, the silhouette of the giant squid swimming in it.

And damn that squid is huge.

A few minutes pass and I see Chris descending down the stairs trying to put his books in his bag.

"Ready?" he asks

"Ready as always,"

With that, we start our lessons for the day.
