Chapter 9

Chapter 9: Paonne

Y/N's POV

"Let's do this."

I quickly ran out of the bathroom and sprinted towards the exit of the school. As I detach my tail fan from my bum I saw this albino horse just looking at me. The horse was standing on two legs like a human but it still had four legs. His other two served as his 'arms.' He was wearing a blue tuxedo that had a lot of buttons and a necktie.

"Hello, traveller. Where are you going? Come closer, I'll give you a ride." he said. His voice was deep and had a hypnotizing tone to it. I felt like my head was spinning as I stared into his very hypnotizing eyes. I got closer and closer to him, he was hypnotizing me. I know he is but I can't stop myself. I felt my body stiffen, like I was being controlled. My body moved around on it's own like I didn't own my body anymore.

"Sure, Mr. Horse." I said, he went down on all fours saying, "Let's go to your destination."

As I was about to get on, I felt a string encircle my waist. I felt relief and shocked at the same time, way to go, LadyBug!

"Not so fast, Mallet! Don't look into his eyes, peacock miraculous holder!" a female voice said. I sensed myself go up in the air and I snapped out of it. I looked around and realized I was on a rooftop, LadyBug and Chat Noir beside me.

"Nice to meet you, stranger." Chat Noir said. I blushed at the sight of Chat Noir and I blushed even more when I saw in his face that he saw me blush, what's better is he blushed as well.

"I'm LadyBug but I'm sure you already know that." LB said then winked.

"Hi, I'm..." I trailed off. I haven't really thought of what to call me yet.

"Haven't thought about the name yet, I see." Chat Noir said. He took his baton and extended it a bit.

"LadyBug, I can take you to your destination. If you give me your Miraculous." Mallet said. LadyBug took her yoyo and pointed her finger at the horse.

"Not gonna lie, I'm pretty good here in Paris. And you down there, why don't you tell Hawkmoth that he should give us his Miraculous?" she yelled. Without warning, the Cheval Mallet flew up to us and attacked us, of course the three of us dodged it.

"Well, peacock girl. Think about your name later. Let's see what you got." Chat Noir said, winking at me and fighting off the horse. "To be honest, Mallet. I thought you guys only appeared at night. Are you defective?" Chat Noir added. I giggled at his joke and went to join the fight as well.

LadyBug threw her yoyo at the horse and unfortunately the horse caught it. Mallet pulled the yoyo string causing LadyBug to fly closer to him.

"No! LadyBug!" Chat Noir yelled. Without thinking I waved my fan and sent a blade scampering straight towards the horse's throat. He dodged, causing him to let go of LadyBug making her fall. The horse was shooting me with glowing white laser that came out of his eyes. I used my fan as a shield and sent another blade, to his face this time. He slipped to the right to dodge it but Chat Noir extended his baton to bonk the horse on the head. I catched LadyBug asking her if she was okay.

"How dare you, stupid cat?!" the horse yelled and Chat Noir snickered.

"Are you kitten me? Your insult is CATastrophic." he retorted. I loudly laughed at his pun. "Someone's an easy crowd." he teased.

"Shut up, Mr. Kitty." I retorted, he suddenly stopped and stared at me.

"Did you just—"

"Chat Noir, look out!" LadyBug yelled. I sent a blade towards Chat Noir and he dodged it.

"Oops, I meant to aim behind you." I said, he playfully rolled his eyes and started to fight again.

He swung his baton at the horse hitting his shoulders. "Hey horse. Where do horses go when they're sick?" he said, starting another pun.

I kicked and punched and swung his baton with LadyBug throwing her yoyo, punching and kicking as well.

"They go to the horsepital!" he said, I flew somewhere elevated to activate an amok.

I waved my fan causing a feather to fall out. I amokized the feather and sent it to Chat Noir's baton. A black cat that had butterfly wings appeared.

"Holy moly, kitty. Your emotions are still made of Cats?" I said as I go back down to help. The 'butterfly-cat' flew up to the horse scratching the horse's face.

"Stupid cat? Get away from me!" the horse yelled. We took the chance to attack while the horse was being distracted. LadyBug punched the stomach with Chat Noir trying to cuff up the horse and me treating the horse's face like a punching bag. "Y'know, horsey? I just want to say you look like a whores!" I insulted him.

The horse then punched LadyBug on the face, kicking Chat Noir on the stomach at the same time.

"Lucky Charm!" LadyBug yelled. "Sunglasses? What are we— ohh!" she said.

"Kitty, try and trap the horse!" LadyBug instructed to Chat Noir.

"I can't, m'lady. If I touch him for too long I'll get hypnotized." he reasoned. I stood beside LadyBug trying to think of a solution.

"LadyBug and Chat Noir, I guess adding an ally won't be a solution to your stupidity!" The horse yelled.

"Is 'stupid' your only known insult?" I sarcastically retorted. I sprint towards him attacking him with blade feathers and he dodged every time. "Think, LB! I'm trying to buy you time which is very hard, by the way." I yelled. Chat Noir smirked just watching me fight the horse.

"I'm trying!" LadyBug yelled back.

"Superkitty, a little help?" I said my gaze at Chat Noir as I was still punching and kicking and fighting the horse.

"Oh, right!" Chat Noir said before helping me fight Mallet. Then an idea.

"LB, I have an idea! Give me the glasses." I yelled at LadyBug. She tossed me the glasses and I tried my best to put the glasses on the horse, which I succeeded in doing.

I sent three feather blades from my fan to the horse and pinned the horse to a nearby chimney by his clothes.

"There. He won't be able to hypnotize anyone." I said.

"Not bad, newbie." LadyBug complimented as she walked towards me giving me a soft hug and letting go after a second.

"What does a horse say when they fall?" Chat Noir grinned as he was about so say another pun. "I fell down, I can't giddyup!" he joked, imitating Mallet's voice.

LadyBug took Mallet's necktie and ripped it in half, then an akuma exited. She purified the akuma tossing the sunglasses up in the air yelling, "Miraculous LadyBug!"

The three of us went down the roof and back to the entrance of the school. I saw Alya looking at the three of us along with all of the students from inside the school

"So, Ms. Peacock. What's your name?" Chat Noir asked. I turned to Chat Noir and thought for a bit.

"I'm... Paonne. Call me Paonne." I declared with a wide grin plastered on my face.

"It's nice to fight alongside you, Paonne." LadyBug said, shaking my hand then after a while pulling me into a hug. Whispering in my ear, "Thank you for doing this. Paris is in grave debt."

I heard clapping from the school and saw that the students have already been standing outside. They were clapping. Clapping for me? No. Clapping for us. For the three of us.

"LadyBug! Chat Noir! Paonne!" the students chanted.

"I'm so happy to serve Paris like this." I said to LadyBug and Chat Noir.

"Let's make a great team!" Chat Noir said holding his fist out. I saw LadyBug do the same and so I also held out my fist.

"Pound it." the three of us said in chorus as we bumped our fists.

I am terribly sorry for the fight scene. I didn't know how to write it but I'll think about it more. I will definitely edit this soon.
