Chapter 17: His True Identity

Y/N's POV

It was a hot day in Paris. I was in my limo, on my way to Marinette's house. Alya called us there because apparently, they had a full proof plan on winning the heart of Adrien Agreste. As my limo stopped in front of Marinette's house, I saw Alya waiting outside the bakery. I quickly went out of my limo and greeted Alya. "Hey girl!" My voice sounded happy as I smiled at my brown haired friend.

"Hey!" Alya sassily greeted back with a smile as her gaze went from her phone to me. "So glad you could come!" She added.

"Yeah! I had a photoshoot but finished early so I figured I should come." Lie.

"That's great! Anyway, let's go inside. Marinette's waiting for us with the rest." Alya said and I smiled at her again.

"Okay, yeah. Sure!" I answered as we giggled together. I greeted Marinette's parents as we walked into the bakery and up to their apartment.

"Y/N's here!" Alya announced and the girls' gaze went our way.

"Hi Y/N!" Rose greeted with her sweet and high pitched voice. Her hand was waving at me and so I did the same.

"Hey." Alix said, her voice raspy and cool.

"'Sup." I greeted her back. Mylene stood up to hug me and so I reciprocated her embrace.

"Where's Marinette?" I asked them as I sat down on the floor beside Juleka.

"Oh, she ran errands. She'll be back soon." Alix said, playing games on her switch. I nodded my head in response. I took my phone out and decided to play games while I wait for the 'meeting' to start. The girls were also doing their own thing so I didn't bother to pay any attention to them. It took a couple of minutes for Marinette to come back from her errands but once she did, we all greeted her, and after the greetings, we started to discuss the 'plan'.

"Alright, girls! We have a lot go over. So, let's start." Alya stated. All of us sat in front of her as she told us the plan. "Rose, Juleka. You are in charge of the flower petals. Alix, you're in charge of the locations, as in you need to make sure Adrien 'bumps' into Marinette." Alya instructed, pointing at the drawings on the white board that Marinette has in her room. Alya hesitantly turned to me, "And Y/N. You're in charge of Marinette's outfit and make up. Just a light no-make-up-make-up-look. M'kay?" she said. Alya tried to make her voice as not awkward as possible but I could hear hints of hesitance. I smiled at her.

"Yes, ma'am!" I yelled, jokingly, making everyone giggle. After a while, Alya finished with instructions and Marinette thanked us for a bit before I heard my phone ding. I took out my phone and saw Mom's text.

You'll be late for the Agreste's honey. Mom reminded. I closed my phone before anyone could see and stood up.

"I have a photoshoot today, so I got to go. Sorry, Marinette. I'd love to stay and chat." I apologized but the blue haired girl just smiled and hugged me.

"It's fine! I understand. Thank you for deciding to help us, Y/N. You're such a great friend." Marinette said and I hesitantly smiled at her. My heart clenched, I guess I'm not totally over him. I silently sighed. For Marinette.

"Y—yeah! Sure, no problem. Anyway, I have to go!" I said. "Bye girls!" I added and waved goodbye to my friends.

"Bye! Drive safely!" Alya said and I giggled at her.

"I don't have a license but thanks!" I answered before I opened the floor trap door thingy and exited Marinette's room. I said my goodbyes to Marinette's parents and went straight outside, stepping into my limo and driving home.
