He got up,
my eyes following him.

"Bring back the blanket when you see me again."
He winked, walking through the rooftop door and back to his place.

I smiled slightly,
his company was oddly comforting.

I easily carried the blanket back to my room at Shoto's estate.

The walk back was unusually quiet,
for a city... it was too quiet.

When I got back,
I saw Tokoyami.

"Where were you?
Are you okay?
Who were you with?
Did you see what happened?"
He asked, I told him to slow down.

"The city, All For One...
he made his first remark on the war."
Tokoyami spoke, a fearful undertone.

"Anyone he hears or sees that'll try to stand up,
he'll kill on the spot. That's not the worst of it."
Tokoyami paused, I waited for the rest.

"He has eyes, hundreds of followers.
He knows and hears every word they speak."
Tokoyami looked to the floor.

"There's no trust in anyone anymore,
...sixteen dead within minutes."
Tokoyami continued hesitantly.

"Miruko, Best Jeanist, Edgeshot,
Fatgum, Gang Orca, Gunhead,
Ragdoll, Pixie-Bob, Kamui Woods,
Mt Lady, Cementoss, Ryukyu..."
The more he listed the more pain I felt.

"He wants to rule over his
obedient followers... he's truly sick."
Tokoyami agreed.

"We're being cornered.
Hero groups are gone,
in fear of a mole to All For One.
Working solo is their only option,
but no one would risk it all
to save someone else in this society..."
I said, Tokoyami sighed.

"Never has the truth been so bitter."
He finished, I raised my head.

"There's hope.
Hope is being able to see that there is light,
despite all of the darkness."
I quoted, Tokoyami smiled slightly.

"For all of our sakes,"
He finished, we went to our rooms and slept.

I fell asleep quickly,
Shinso's blanket wrapped around me.

I woke up to the sweet scent of the blanket,
I assumed it was Shinso's scent.

I yawned and stretched.

I forgot I was now in Shoto's place,
so it took me a second to realize where I was.

I smelled breakfast.

I folded Shinso's blanket on my bed
and walked to go eat.

"Good morning."
I said, my scratchy voice faint.

Keigo chuckled.

"Morning sleepy-head,"
I yawned once more.

"Bird brain."
I said, rubbing my eyes.

Keigo and I threw more weak insults at each other.

The light was extremely bright
through the windows in the dining hall.

I sat down next to Katsuki.

We said our thanks before we ate.

I dug my fork through the fluffy French Toast.

It warmed me up,
I smiled with my eyes closed.

Bopping my head side to side in approval.

"I'm glad you like it so much,"
Tokoyami said, laughing a bit at my childish reaction.

We all finished, full and happy.

"Thank you for cooking Tokoyami,"
I said, he just smiled.

I put my dishes on the counter.

I walked back to my room
to figure out what I was doing today.

The hallways down to the rooms were long,
wall to wall were old paintings
and small collected things from over the years.

I got down to my room.

I used my room key and opened the door.
I flopped on my bed and opened my phone
to see if anything had happened overnight.

After a few minutes my mind started to drift.

"Can I come in?"
I heard after a knock.

I guessed it was Katsuki.

I unlocked the door.

"This is the first time we've really talked,"
I joked, he nodded.

I sat on my bed
and he sat on the chair by the desk.

"What did you come here for?"
I asked him.

"Izuku and Shigaraki will be targets of AFO,
but since we all know them and are close to them.
That risks our lives too,
I wanted to make sure you were aware of it.
That it's not too late for you
and the others to move somewhere safer."
Katsuki explained, I shook my head.

"I have people I know that I want to protect,
Dabi, Keigo and Shigaraki are only a few."
I thought of Aizawa, Mic and Eri as family too.

"I want to help as well,
despite being a villain to everyone else.
Under the surface I still do care for the people around me."
I told Katsuki that I only became a villain to protect the people I was close to.

"I understand, I just wanted to be sure
that we weren't pulling you too far into this war."
He said honestly, I thanked him.

He smiled,
I hadn't seen this side of him.

Katsuki was just a softie,
around Izuku and Shoto,
along with others he's close to.

I told him I was going to go out today,
and to let the others know.

I held Shinso's blanket and
went down the hallway to the laundry room.

I had the urge to go see Shinso again today,
and I figured I should give the blanket back.

As the thumping noise of
the washing machine started, I zoned out.

I hummed a tune
and let my mind wander.

I saw Shinso,
he hugged me.

Kissing my lips.

My eyes shot open.

I put my hand to my lips,
recalling the feeling from yesterday.

I shook my head
and took the blanket out.

I put it in the dryer and waited again.

I smelt the floral scent of the laundry room,
the dryer making a noise as it finished.

I took out the blanket
and folded it on the washing machine.

It was folded small enough to fit in the bag in my room.

I packed my phone and water.

I zipped up the bag and stood up,
I closed the door behind me
and started to walk over to the same rooftop.

The walk there was pretty long,
it began to get dark early.

I whistled quietly,
finding the ladder.
