Shinso x Male!Reader

Chapter Ten:

"You found me."
It wasn't Shinso's voice,
he was using another voice changing mask.

Probably using the transformation powers
from the Scarlet Blade of Misfortune.

I didn't respond,
I wouldn't fall for his tricks.

It had been long enough that his quirk would cancel out.

I spoke up.

"Your plan was well thought out."
I noted, not letting him respond.

"First trade a fake twin blade,
get possession of the Scarlet Blade,
then make me steal your mask,
record us using your mask connected to this.
All to get to this point.
But what was it all for?"
I asked him, I finally saw him turn around.

He set down the second mask
and it changed back to the blade.

"Izuku.. he's moved on has he?"
A tear down Shinso's face.

I was taken aback.

I had snatched handcuffs off the rack in the hero agency,
this hero agency happened to hand in criminals.

I handcuffed him and
shut down the recording system.

I walked up the steps,
Shinso followed behind silently.

I felt a sad aura from him.

I felt almost guilty,
but there was nothing
I could do against Shoto's orders.

I texted Tokoyami to call off the search.

We met back up in Shoto's office.

Shinso was sitting in a chair,
still handcuffed.

"Izuku..."
Shinso quietly spoke.

No one responded in fear that he'd use his quirk.

Izuku then suddenly responded.

"Why chase me here Shinso?"
He asked, we stayed quiet to hear his response.

"I missed you... I'm sorry..."
Shinso let another two tears fall.

"I left for your sake,
I hoped you'd find someone new..
I'm with Katsuki and Shoto now."
Izuku continued, feeling bad.

"You left me because you never had enough time for me..
I just wanted to be by your side.
I never needed anything else..."
Shinso was silently crying.

I looked at Izuku.

"Shinso..
I'm sorry I left you.
I told you to find someone else
because I didn't want you to be tied down by my work,
All For One could attack me at any second,
I know you're not weak but I couldn't stand
the idea of you being hurt in the wars."
Izuku admitted.

Shinso smiled through his tears.

"Any second I had with you, I was happy..
I knew in the end I'd probably be killed in the war.
I didn't care... my love for you was worth dying for."
Shinso finished, Izuku started to cry as well.

Izuku got up and un handcuffed him,
he hugged him and cried into his shoulder.

"I'm sorry I caused you so much pain,
what kind of a hero am I?..."
He asked himself, Shinso shook his head.

"All I ever wanted was to be with you again,"
Shinso turned his focus to Katsuki and Shoto.

"But I realize I need to move on,
take this as a final goodbye.
But the start of another chapter in my life."
Shinso concluded.
