Lucy's POV

Week 1, Month 1,

Luke has a two months to warm up to the whole dating thing. Two months. Eight  weeks. Reasonable enough.

We are gonna get to know each other. We are. We will be friends at least, by say, week three. Hopefully. Its Monday.

Since my little "revelation", Luke has kept his distance. I guess he knew he'd have to spend time with me from today on. Poor guy.

Time to get ready. I pull some black leggings, a lacy black tank top and a flannel on after my shower. I tie my hair in a high, messy ponytail, apply some mascara, and leave.

Lunch. I hate the food here, so I usually bring something or go out. Thats OK. The food isn't a huge problem, its the seating.

Its so cliché, its almost like mean girls, you know, with the jocks, the nerds, the unfriendly Asians, whatever.

Then there's my group. I'd say we are the less bitchy popular people. We sit at the table beside  the bitchy people.

Spencer and Alison just walked in holding hands. Ugh. They sit with the bitchy people.

I roll my eyes in their direction. Kayla gives me an apologetic look as she sits... beside them. OK, then? Thank you for your support, Kayla.

Sighing, I pick at my panini and salad. My friend Michael (a la blue hair) nudges me.

"Hey, Lucy Lou. How's you?" he smiles at me. I giggle. Michael's a cutie. He doesn't worship Spencer like the majority of the rest of the guys.

"I'm good, Mike. How're you? How's Tasha?" I ask him. I genuinely wanna make sure he's doing OK. His sister is sick.

"She's doing better. She likes that new guy. The one who looks like a breadstick?" he laughs,"he seems like a good guy, though.  When Anna fell he helped her up. There he is actually."

Luke has just entered, chewing an apple.

I signal for him to come over. He blushes and slides into the seat beside me.

"Hey, Lucy. Hey, Michael."

"I'm a bit confused. Is it hi or hey?" I ask them in confusion.

Luke smirks at me. "Neither. It's hello, beautiful."

Damn. He's smooth.
