Chapter 3

Apologies for spacing in the last chapter, I can't fix it tbh.

Luke's POV

Checking my hair one last time in the mirror, I notice a spot on my forehead Ugh. Great. On the one day I need to look decent a spot the size of Russia moves in. Oh well.

I make an uneventful journey to school and I don't get lost, which is a miracle.

I notice that people are staring at me. Oh. I hope I don't stand out to much. Black skinny jeans and a white t shirt is OK, right?

A ripple seems to spread down the hallway. All I can hear is "Whoa, Spencer and Alison? I feel really bad for Lucy!" Lucy? Are they talking about that girl I met yesterday? Lucy Greenway? I guess I'll find out.

Lucy's POV

Great. Fan-fucking-tastic. Lovely. The second I came into school, all I could here was "There she is, do you think she knows?"

Worrying right? I need to find out what's going on. And the only way to find out is to find the most trustworthy person I know, Kayla.

I see a blur of red out of the corner of her eye. She seems to have found me first. She grabs my arm, and pulls me with her without so much as a 'hi' or a 'come here', red locks flying out behind her.

She pushes me into an empty classroom. "What's going on?" I ask her.

"OK, Lu. I think you need to know before someone else tells you. Someone walked in on Spencer and Alison..you know.. doing the do?"

"At 8 in the morning? They're like horny rabbits."

"You already know?" Kayla ask.

"Yeah and I intend to get them back. Follow me."

We walk to the school office. I'm on the list of seniors who can be trusted to do the morning announcements and its my turn today.

Talking into a speaker, I say over the intercom: "Morning, Ivory High students. This is Lucy Greenway. These are the announcements for this morning. After school basketball practices are canceled, as Coach Mendler is absent."

"New students are asked to come to the office. Anyone interested in Green School or Dance Team try outs, please see noticeboard."

" and that the two pupils who were 'getting busy' in a classroom this morning, please know that I am aware of your "extra curricular activities".

Thank you, please enjoy your day!"

I glance at Kayla. "This means war."
