BTS' band leader, RM debuted a new solo titled '

Bicycle

' late Sunday night and it has

ARMY go crazy

with all the sentimental cues attached to it. In honour of the Korean-pop band's 8th anniversary, the singer dropped the special track to keep the FESTA 2021 spirit flying high.

ARMY flooded Twitter with their emotional reactions to the song. Some even seemed overjoyed to add the 'an ideal bike riding' track to their playlist. The song boasts of RM's trademark rap, meaningful lyrics and top-notch vocals to keep listeners going the extra mile on their bikes.

According to reports, the song 'Bicycle' was inspired by RM's favourite pastimes and was the primary motivation for him to pen down the lyrics. Though he had always intended to write about 'Bicycle,' he was finding it difficult to pull together a series without a set timeline after his 2018 smash, 'Mono.'

The singer revealed in a post that the FESTA 2021 celebrations served as a terrific motivator for him to develop and release this new song.

RM being very dreamy, came up with the lyrics while riding his bicycle everywhere during February and March. Although it was quite a task for him, he was pleased when he finished the song's lyrics to complement John Hyung's guitar tunes.

Moon Sung Silk, another fantastic artist and one of RM's favourites, provided the cover illustration for the song 'Bicycle.' RM enjoys Moon's art, which he believes perfectly depicts his sketching style. In the post, RM expressed his gratitude to artists - John Eun and Moon Sung Silk - for their collaboration in creating a masterpiece.
