Jakob POV
I wake up, and find out it wasn't just a pleasant dream. I feel a set of arms wrapped around me. I look over and see Veronika there, sleeping peacefully. God, this is comforting. I smile to myself, and look up to the ceiling. I thank whatever god is there for allowing this to happen to me. I excitedly cuddle up to Veronika, hugging her tightly, wanting to protect her. I know this sounds creepy, but I smell her hair, it smells great! Like roses! I sigh, I can't wait for our first date. Suddenly my phone goes off. FUCK. I look to see who it is, it's my mom. Ok not so bad, she texted me, she always texts me in the morning.
Mom: Morning Dude!
Jakob: Morning mom!
Mom: how're you doing?
Jakob: Good.
Mom: What're you doing?
Jakob: Cuddling with my girlfriend.
Oh shit! I didn't mean to send that, we aren't official yet! The text bubble pops up. My mom replies with.
Mom: what!? When did you get a girlfriend?!
Jakob: It's not official yet, but she and I confessed our feelings for each other. I didn't even mean to send that last part. I'm going to ask her to date properly today.
Mom: Well I'm happy for you! I hope you will be happy!
Jakob: I hope so too! Don't say anything to anyone yet! I don't want this getting out to my twitch fans yet, I'd get so much shit about it.
Mom agrees and I put my phone down. I go back to hugging Veronika. After about twenty minutes, I feel her shifting about. I see her look up me and smile. She says
Veronika: So it wasn't just a pipe dream! God I'm so happy about that!
Jakob: So, we both love each other, and we cuddled all night, so does that mean we're a couple now?
Veronika: I guess!
Jakob: Sweet!
I check my phone. My friend texted me.
Friend: going to the class reunion on Thursday?
Jakob: I might, you going?
Friend: Yeah, Joseph, Henry, and I are forming a singles club for the night. We wanted to know if you were coming or not.
Jakob: Bold of you to assume I'm still single.
Friend: You aren't!?
Jakob: As of 7:45pm last night.
Friend:
Jakob: I'll send you a picture!
Picture sent
Friend: whaaa? You're dating a dude?!
