A New Relationship. (Trans woman x Cis male)

The weekend.

Veronika POV.
I'm driving to Sioux Falls for my surgery right now. I was thinking to myself, I'm excited to see Jakob. After around five to six hours of driving I get to Sioux Falls. I walk into the waiting room. The doctor walks out and says.

Doctor: Veronika Johnson?

Veronika: Lets get this show on the road!

He walks me to the operation room. He smiles and asks.

Doctor: Anybody special in your life?

Veronika: Yeah, but I don't know if he feels the same way about me.

Doctor: Are you gay?

Veronika: No im Trans, that's why I'm getting the surgery.

Doctor: Oh, that makes sense, sorry mam.

Veronika: Eh, shit happens.

Doctor: Can you tell me about this guy?

Veronika: Well he's nice, funny, goofy. He and I are PS4 friends, and he agreed to help me out here.

Doctor: You don't know what he looks like?

Veronika: Yeah I do, he's a TikToker as well, I've went through his page and memorized his face.

Doctor: Well, I hope he's the one for you!

Veronika: I hope so as well.

Jakob POV.
I get a dm at around 4:30 in the afternoon, its from Veronika. She said that her surgery is done, and is waiting in the hospital room. I smile as I gather all my things I'd need, clothes, toiletries, laptop, the essentials. I do her back saying that I was on my way, and I'd be there by 7:00. I get to my car and drive off. After 1 and 1 half hour I arrived at the hospital Veronika is at. I park my car and walk to the lobby. I ask the receptionist.

Jakob: Is a miss Veronika Johnson done with their surgery?

Receptionist: Yes, I'll call her done for you.

She calls Veronika down to the office, I see someone that looks a dude, but has the body shape of a woman walk up to me, I smile at them.

Jakob: So we finally meet face to face Veronika?

Veronika: Yes we do, Jakob, nice to finally put a face to the voice!

Jakob: Same here, let's go it's getting late!

She smiled, and hugged me.

Veronika: Thanks for helping me out dude!

Im about a head taller then she is, leaving her head in my chest. I smile.

Jakob: No problem, I'll always help a friend in need! You just need to ask!

I figure we should head to the hotel. I tell her and she smiles.

Veronika: Yeah!

We walk out to my truck, a 2017 Dodge Ram pickup. She hops in and looks up the hotel. The "Best Western Plus Ramkota Hotel." She tells me the address and I drive there. We hop out, and I grab my bag and realize something.

Jakob: Veronika, where's your bag?

Veronika: I forget it and didn't realize it til my surgery was done. My parents are bringing them to the hotel.

I guess that makes sense. We walk up to the front desk. The lady behind the desk smiles and says

Lady: Hello! What can I do for you two?

Veronika: I have a room reservation!

Lady: Ah! Name?

Veronika: Veronika Johnson!

Lady: Alright! You two are in room 340!

The lady hands the room keys to Veronika. She walks over and says.

Veronika: Cmon dude, we got a room waiting!

We walk to the elevator, I go to press the button but she, kinda childlike, says

Veronika: I wanna press the button!

I laugh and pull my hand back. She gets excited and presses the button. God, why is this so adorable to me? When the elevator reaches the third floor the door opens, we walk out. We walk to room 340, she opens the room with the key. I look around the around, and immediately noticed that there was only one bed. Ummm, shit.

Jakob: I'll sleep in the chair.

Veronika: Cmon! The bed's really cold and I need a cuddle buddy!

God damn it. Why?! I'm blushing really bad, my face is so red you'd think I was sunburnt.

Jakob: fine, but no funny business!

Veronika: Do you really think I'll try any funny business with a big guy like you?

We lay down. I grab the tv remote and turn on the television. She cuddles up to me tightly. It's a smart tv, so we decide to watch Netflix. I'm weird, so I don't like Stranger Things, but Veronika loves it so I'll just suffer so she can be happy. We're halfway through the second episode when there's a knock on the door. Veronika calls over.

Veronika: It's open!

A middle aged woman walks in with a suitcase. She looks at the bed and sees us both in it, and lets out an audible

???: What the fuck?!

Veronika: Don't worry mom, nothing sexual happening, just watching Stranger things.

Veronika's mom: There better not be, you literally just got that gina so you can't use it yet!

I'm just sitting there stunned. I'm hoping Veronika's mom doesn't beat me. She smiles at me, and walks over.

Veronika's mom: My name is Gracelyn, but you can call me Gracie if you so please! I just came up to drop off the bag that Veronika forgot.

She offers me her hand to shake. I accept and smile.

Jakob: Well Mrs. Johnson, my name is Jakob Grün. I've known Veronika for a few years now, we often play video games together.

Gracie: Oh, none of the Missus crap, I'm informal!

She smiles, and then says

Gracie: I'm going to get a room in a different hotel, if you two need anything don't be afraid to call!

She leaves. Veronika lightly taps my nose, and crawls on my lap.

Veronika: I have something I need to tell you.

Oh? Well, I guess I do as well.

Jakob: I do as well.

Veronika: you go first then.

I sigh, bracing myself for to be rejected.

Jakob: Veronika, I love you. I've loved you for a long time. Since I turned seventeen, I've had a crush on you. I want to ask if you'd want go out with me sometime.

I finish talking, and look Veronika in the eyes. I expect her to start laughing, or call me a creep, but instead of any of that, I get a shock that comes in the form of a kiss on the lips. I'm stunned, but I melt into it. After she breaks it off, she looks at me and smiles.

Veronika: I was gonna say the same thing, hot stuff. I'd love to go out with you.

She lays back down next to me. We wrap our arms around each other, and just, enjoy each other's company. It's, nice.
