Veronika POV
Alright! Got the man! Tomorrow we got a date at his class reunion, but I don't have dress. We fell asleep watching NCIS, we got to McGee's first episode. That had no importance. I woke up, his arms wrapped around my back, my face planted in his chest. I look at his face, was he crying? I gotta ask him.
Veronika: Morning honey.
Jakob: Morning babe.
Veronika: Were you crying last night?
He gives me a small smile, and kisses me on the forehead.
Jakob: It was out of happiness. After I came out, my uncle told me I'd never have a happy relationship. I'm just so happy that he was wrong.
Okay, that's just sad. His uncle saying that bullshit? I'd better make sure this relationship is as happy as can be. I look at him, and smile.
Veronika: Well honey, I love you and we can stick it to your uncle later, but we need to go dress shopping today.
He smiles, and says.
Jakob: Well, let's get going! We'll get breakfast on the way!
We got fully dressed, and as I'm bent over, I noticed him, admiring, something of mine.
Veronika: You like my ass?
Jakob: Maybe.
I wiggle it for him, being a tease.
Veronika: When we're married, it's all yours!
Jakob: Id hope you don't use before!
This adorable idiot. Of course I'm not going to cheat on him.
Veronika: you idiot of course im not gonna cheat on you!
He sticks tongue out, and blows a raspberry.
Jakob: Well we're both dressed, let's get going!
He's right. We go out to his vehicle, and hop in. He drives, and we go through a McDonald's drive through.
Jakob: What you'd like?
Veronika: Two sausage and egg McMuffins!
Jakob: You want hash browns or a drink?
Veronika: A single hash brown, and a large coke.
Jakob: Kay.
He pulls up to the mic.
Jakob: Two egg and sausage McMuffins, two hash browns, two large cokes, and a bacon egg and cheese McGriddle please.
Employee: Of course sir, your total comes to $25.50 pull up to the next window when ready.
He pulls out his money, and drives to the next window. The young man at the window smiles.
Employee: First off happy pride month! Second, your total is $25.50!
Jakob: thanks sir, and here you go!
Jakob hands him his card and pays. The employee returns the card after the transaction went through. He told us to drive to the next window. Jack drove up and got the food. We parked in nearby park, and eat. After that we drive to dress store. I walk into the store, Jakob was going to come, but he had to go get something quick. I start looking at baby blue sheath style dress, but I was gonna wait for him to get here. As im looking at a dinner dress, I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn and it's Jakob.
Jakob: Hey babe!
Veronika: Hey honey, what's up?
Jakob: Just got you a little something.
Veronika: Oh?
He pulls out a small silver pendant. He smiles and says
Jakob: I saw it on the way up here the other day and figured you'd like it.
It's very beautiful, with a intricate engraving of a flower on the front.
Veronika: I love it babe!
I hug him. He's too nice!
Jakob: Well, I figured you would!
Veronika: You're sweet!
We hug for a few minutes, then we start looking at dresses, until we select a black asymmetrical dress, and we also get black heels. We smile, and go back to the hotel room. We lay down, opting to cuddle instead of any other activities for the eday.
