The courtiers watched as little Greta played a game against Lord Strange, which she was clearly winning.

He frowned as the people began to clap for Greta, seeing as he thought he had won.

"No, that's...that's...This line here, that's out," he commented and Greta was quick to correct him.

"No, it was not," she argued with him as she walked toward where it would be considered out. "This is out or are you blind? You lost the point, Lord Strange."

Charlotte clapped her hands, she and Maximilian laughing at Greta's comment while Lord Strange rolled his eyes, rather annoyed at the little girl's attitude. Greta went to stand next to her father as Bella took her place in the game.

Jasper watched the scene occur with an amused look on his face.

He hadn't even noticed that Margaret was walking up to him at that moment. "You should have told me that your friend is such a marvelous court jester."

"Oh, he is no friend of mine," Jasper responded, causing Margaret to chuckle. "But I think you already knew that."

Margaret smiled softly as she walked towards him to watch the game.

They both looked ahead, watching as Bella beat Lord Strange for the second time in a row.

"Will you walk?"

Jasper nodded, and offered her his arm, the two of them wasting no time beginning to walk together. "I thought you'd be celebrating, considering your nephew now has a son," Margaret questioned.

"So, you know, then, that Henry's position is much stronger. There will be alliances, a betrothal for the Prince. And, uh..." he trailed off slightly. "Should we choose a French princess and make our peace with them?"

Margaret almost laughed. There were no French princesses for Arthur to wed. And the King had only been promised to Nora and then to Greta.

"And France is the enemy on Burgundy's doorstep. It would mean you both would wage war on us. But, does it truly matter to us when we're already fighting you both as it is?"

"It is decided, then. You wish to wage war on us," Jasper said, resigned.

"I have no love of war, I never have. Seeing my father constantly leave for battle as I grew up made me detest war. No matter what you say, I cannot like your king," she explained and Jasper sighed in defeat.

"Yet you do not know him," Jasper attempted to remind her. "You have too strong a mind to let the past or old scores sway you. Henry won at Bosworth fairly. In fact, he was the outside chance."

"I think he has you to thank for that," Margaret commented, smiling up at Jasper.

"I was by his side throughout the battle and since he was a child," Jasper replied calmly. "I am heart and soul for Henry. I would give my life for him."
