Lily,
I am free. Though it is not by our doing. Our grandmother came and freed me. With the rebellion your husband is crushing, the men are all away and so it was rather easy for me to escape.
Congratulations on the birth of your prince. It's strange to think I've been locked up so long that I do not even know him, do you not think so? More than a year I spent at the Priory and don't you think I won't forget how you did not fight for me.
I'm in Burgundy now with your mother. I do not like this, let me tell you. We grew up together, as sisters, as daughters of York and now we are on opposing sides.
I do wonder how you can stand to live among Tudor supporters. How do you look at Lord Strange? How can you live near him when he is the reason our sister Bella won't have children of her own? How can you dine with Stanley when he probably organized the attack on the Tower that killed my brothers?
I suppose that is something I will never understand.
I implore you to remember the curse my mother and I laid at the feet of the Tudors. I do not know where the powers in my line come from or where our sight comes from, but I have seen it work. Curse me if you will, but it will not invalidate our curse. Your boy will not live long. He will never be king.
Lily, support your brother's claim. William is out there and he will no doubt want to reclaim our family's throne. He is out there and he must have a thirst for vengeance against those who took our family's rightful place.
After all, why else do you think our aunt and your mother initiated this battle? Do you truly think Charlotte would put a random peasant boy on the throne? Why would she when she has Teddy in her keeping? Why would she when she has her own son with a claim to the throne?

"Can I help you?" Charlotte asked, raising her left eyebrow at him and placing a hand on her hip as she leaned against the doorframe.
He had arrived at her room while she was both thinking of what to do now and if retaking the throne would be worth it. She had one son left out of the four she'd birthed and two of her four daughters likewise. And the one son she had left was not with her, he was lost in the wind much like her hopes were.
Charlotte had to admit, she loathed the fact that in trying to crown a son, she'd end up dethroning a daughter. Trying to give her future grandchildren what was their birthright, she would have to remove her existing grandson from what he believed to be his.
