"Let go Monia."

She's standing in front of a beautiful wide field. Acres and acres of abandoned land in front of her.

Specks of lavender appear throughout the wheat.

The wind is loud in her ears.

She runs.

And runs.

She sees him in the distance. She keeps running the distance does not close between them.

Then she stops.

She didn't intend to. She tried move her feet. She waves her arms trying to gain momentum and move forward. She looks down at her feet and they are chained to the ground. Gray thick chains.

The wind gets louder and she looks up and sees him moving closer.

And closer.

She feels afraid now, but she can't turn away. In fact it feels as though a magnet is pulling her towards him.

"No," she says under her breath. She glanced down at her feet and looks up to see him suddenly inches away from her face.

"let go Monia"
——-

She wakes up in cold sweat, holding her hand against her chest hoping to slow down her racing heart.

She slowly gets out of bed and approaches her mirror across the room and says to herself,

"Let go Monia."
