When I woke up I didn't feel Sukuna next to me, I slowly opened my eyes and realized that I was back in my room. "Ughhhhh" I groaned, as I rolled over and put my head under my pillow. Was it really just another dream? How could it have felt so real? I felt more tired than I did before I even went to bed. Either way, I had to get up for school. As I got up out of bed and walked to my bathroom, I realized my whole body ached. I guess I slept the wrong way last night.
Walking into the bathroom, I stared at my reflection in the mirror. I had multiple huge hickeys on my neck and down the side of my body as well as bite marks. There were scratches along my arms as well. I stared at myself in disbelief. Was my dream...real? Or did I fall down a flight of stairs? I was so preoccupied with my appearance that I lost track of time...I decided to call in sick to school today, which wasn't a complete lie, I could hardly move. I texted my parents letting them know I wasn't feeling good so I decided to stay home from school, and I also texted my grandma letting her know I was under the weather.
I had just made myself a cup of tea when there was a knock at the door. Curious as to who would be coming here in the middle of the day, I peeked out the side window before opening it. "Hey grandma! What are you doing here?" I was surprised that she wasn't at the bakery. "Aren't people going to be lost without your sweet treats?" She chuckled as she walked into the kitchen, her arms full of baking supplies.
"I know you said you weren't feeling the greatest." She smirked as her eyes found the huge bruise on my neck. "So I figured I would bake you something to help you feel better and keep you company." My face turned pink at the realization that she probably knew I wasn't actually sick. I shook my head and smiled at her.
"I can't believe you showed up." I moved my sweater further up my neck to try and hide the bite marks and bruises. "I appreciate the thought though." I said as I gestured to the ingredients now strewn about the counter.
"Now Y/N, there's no need to hide those marks from me. I've already seen them." She said with a wink. "I won't pry, but I can give you some tips on how to properly cover them up before your mother gets home." My expression must have been one of complete shock because she laughed.
"I...you know how to cover this up?" I said incredulously. "It's worse than this to be honest with you." My face had gone beet red and I was staring at the floor. "I thought it was just a dream, but then I woke up with all these marks, barely able to move, and I don't think it was a dream after all....but I don't understand how it could possibly be real."
"Tsk." She walked over to me and held my face gently in her hands, her face suddenly taking on a solemn look. "Was it against your will dearie?" She whispered. "Whatever happened...you can tell me." Her eyes were so full of compassion my heart nearly overflowed with love for her.
"No, no grandma. It wasn't anything like that. Nothing b..bad happened." I stuttered as I remembered Sukuna's hands on my body, his sweet gentle kisses mingled in with his strong demanding ones. "It just felt like a dream." I blushed again as I avoided looking her in the eyes. She let go of my face and went back around the island to continue with her baking.
"In that case, you'll need to take a long bath to soothe your sore muscles, by the looks of it, you'll be feeling it for a few days hmmm?" She giggled to herself. "As for the marks, its a good thing it's getting cooler out, you'll want to wear sweaters and use foundation to cover up the marks that may be seen otherwise."
"I feel like I should be taking notes here. I don't want to know how you know all this, but I'm sure I'll appreciate it when mom comes home." The kitchen now smelled like cookies and my mouth started to water. Grandma was humming her same tune she always did. I was just content to watch her bake while I sipped on my tea.
A few hours later, I was hugging her goodbye with a kitchen full of cookies and cupcakes, mom and dad would have a field day with all these sweets. My mind however was not on the sweets, but on Sukuna. I slowly walked up the stairs to my bathroom to run a hot bubble bath. As soon as I sunk under the hot water, I closed my eyes and felt my whole body relax, no sooner than I had relaxed I heard a familiar voice.
"Looks like you got a little beat up kitten." My eyes snapped open as I looked around the room, and there crouched beside the bathtub, red eyes inches from my face, was Sukuna.
