A few days passed where I had to entertain myself because Sukuna was gone most of the day. I spent a lot of time in the library I had found during our game a few weeks ago. Most of the books were in such good condition. I found myself spending hours reading through them.

After reading away half the day, I made my way to the kitchen to bake some cookies. I turned on some music and was enjoying dancing around as I mixed and put the cookie dough onto the pans.

"Whoops...I made way too much dough." I murmured to myself. "There will be enough cookies to feed an army." I decided to just throw the extra into the freezer for another day, better than having them go old.

As I was flitting around the kitchen, dancing away, I heard a chuckle from behind me. I turned around, seeing Sukuna leaning against the wall, my face went red. "How long have you been there?"

"I caught the end of the dance before you started muttering to yourself." An amused grin on his face as he walked over to me. "I didn't want to interrupt you, it looked like you were having fun." He was inches away from me and I realized how much I had really missed him.

"I missed you." I murmured, looking deep into his eyes. He smirked, pushing me up against the wall.

"What exactly did you miss, kitten?" He whispered as he left a light trail of kisses from my lips, down my neck, to my shoulder.

"I...um…" I stuttered as his kisses got deeper, nibbling on my ear. "This. You." I managed to get out as he grabbed my waist and pulled me close to him. He smelled musky, in a good way. I could feel my thoughts escaping me as he continued to hold me and place kisses on all my exposed skin.

"Mmm, kitten. You smell sweet." His face was buried in my neck. "Sweet enough to eat." He murmured before biting down on my shoulder, sending a shiver of pain through my body. I gripped his shirt as he licked the spot he had just bit.

Grabbing my hair, he pulled my head back so I was looking up at him. Placing a gentle kiss on my lips, he let go of my hair and pulled back. Smirking, he turned to walk out of the room. "When you're done with the cookies, meet me in my throne room. We have lots to talk about."

Curious what he meant by that, I took the cookies out and placed them on the counter to cool. Turning off the oven and heading to find Sukuna, I was lost in thought as I walked through the large double doors.

Sukuna was leaning on the back of his throne, one leg hanging over the armrest, he looked deep in thought. I walked up to him, sitting down on my knees with my legs folded under me in front of him. I waited for him to talk before disrupting his thinking.

Turning to look at me, he smiled. "Tomorrow is the day Y/N." He gestured to the throne beside him. "Tomorrow is the day you become my queen." He beckoned me to sit on his lap, so I got up as he pulled me into him. Stroking my hair. "But to become the Queen of Curses, you must have a curse yourself." His eyes took on a slightly malevolent tone. "You don't have to worry about the details, I have everything ready. And once you have your curse...the real training begins."

He looked at me. Like he was trying to see right through my feelings. I nodded. "I'm ready. For whatever I need to do." My words sounded confident, but he was being pretty vague about the whole thing. So I really didn't know what to expect. Knowing Sukuna, it could be anything…

"I have to oversee some last minute details for tomorrow. But you should rest up. It'll be a long day." He stood up, steadying me on my feet. "Feel free to stay here and absorb the room before you. It'll all be ours to share soon enough." He waved his hand as he walked out of the room, shutting the doors behind him.

The room was a deep red, it seemed endless, and you couldn't really tell where the floor, walls, and ceiling ended or began. It almost had a foggy quality to it. Both thrones were made out of bones, bones that looked to be human. I shivered a little at the thought. But I came this far, and I wasn't about to turn back. Walking slowly up to the second throne, I traced my fingers along the back before sitting down. For something made of bones it was surprisingly comfortable.

Time seemed to pass differently in here...it felt like only 5 minutes had passed when Sukuna walked back in. "You're still in here?" He asked, walking up and holding his hand out to me. "I see you've gotten comfortable. But it's been four hours." He smirked at me.

"Four hours? It only felt like a few minutes." I looked at him, astonished. "I must have really gotten lost in it." Muttering to no one in particular, I stood up and took Sukuna's hand.

"You'll get used to it...its like that to disorient the people brought in." His demeanor changed as the thought passed through. I felt more intimidated than I had in a long time. "Everything in there is to create the optimal environment to breed fear." He seemed to be getting excited the more he talked about it. "People will do whatever you want when they're afraid, they'll agree to anything if they think it will save their pathetic little lives." He paused, smiling. "It makes it all the more satisfying when you end them anyway."

This was Sukuna. The REAL Sukuna. King of Curses. A man with no mercy, and yet, even with what he just said, I wanted to be by his side.

He waved his hand in the air as if to dismiss the memories floating through him. "It's all for amusement sake anyway. Sometimes it's for work, but usually it's just to toy with them when I'm bored." Shrugging his shoulders as we got to our room.

I had so many questions for him, but I knew there would be lots of time to ask after I became queen. Sukuna was watching me, with a deep hunger in his eyes as I changed into shorts and a tank top.

Crawling into bed, I waited for him. It had felt like ages since we had been together like this. I was excited. As he pinned me to the bed, all other thoughts left my mind.

Morning came too soon, I just wanted to snuggle deep into the covers and not leave. I started drifting off to sleep when the blanket was ripped off me. Sukuna stood there with a huge smile on his face. "Ready Y/N?" I groaned as he yanked me out of bed and pushed me into the bathroom. "Get ready. Meet me in the kitchen in half an hour."

I showered and got dressed, still a little sleepy. He hadn't given me a lot of opportunities to sleep last night. I made my way to the kitchen and when I got there, there was a wide awake Sukuna and a glass of what looked like juice. He slid the glass towards me. Picking it up, it looked thick and it coated the sides of the cup. I looked up at Sukuna. "What is this?" I asked, I brought the cup up to my nose and took a sniff.

A strong metallic smell hit my nose and I knew instantly what it was. "Is...is this...blood?" I asked. My eyes growing wide. Sukuna nodded. His eyes were mischievous.

"It's my blood. This is the fastest way to get the curse into you." He moved closer. "You have to drink all of it, the amount I gave you is important. It'll determine how strong the curse inside you will be." I paused with the cup halfway to my lips.

Taking a deep breath, I chugged the whole cup back in less than 10 seconds. Shivering as the taste lingered on my tongue. Sukuna watched me carefully. After a few minutes of silence he kissed me.

Holding my chin in his hand he looked deep into my eyes. "We've had a lot of fun together." He paused. "I really hope the curse doesn't kill you...it would be a huge inconvenience." He looked me up and down. My eyes widened. Next thing I knew, there was a searing pain in my head as I crumpled to the floor.
