chapter 9

Jade POV

We hopped into Pez's car and drove off singing to all our favourite songs. I smiled as we arrived at the diner, Perrie grabbed onto my hand as we walked in.

'What would you like today, pretty,' the waiter winked at Perrie, MY Perrie... AND SHE BLUSHED.. She smiled at him but didn't say anything. My blood was boiling and I'm pretty sure the vein in my forehead was near popping. I didn't realise my hand was shaking so bad until I felt Pez's hand on mine pushing it to the table. I just can't handle the thought that she may like someone else more than me, romantically speaking. The waiter was looking at me weirdly so I glared at him.

'Just get us a large lasagne and quick,' I growled as I shooed him away. Glaring at me, he wrote the order down and sulked away. 

'Baba, it's ok, calm down,' she smiled at me, 'how about we post something for the mixers,' I nodded slowly starting to smile again.

Pez snapped a quick picture and posted it with the caption -Jerrie Night-. Within seconds the post had over a million likes, Perrie slowly went through all the comments laughing at all the shippers. While she did that I got my phone out and went though my twitter feed, one tweet caught my eye...

"Is Little Mix's Perrie Edwards dating the Liverpool sensation, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain?" The two were pictured together in many occasions over the past weeks, the first time being the day just after Perrie and Zayn Malik's engagement split. Just yesterday we received a picture of Edwards and Oxlade-Chamberlain getting cosy in the booth of the new restaurant downtown, where Alex and Perrie kissed further confirming rumours!

I stared at the pictures attached in disbelief, they were all undoubtedly Perrie, the top one being her kissing the Liverpool guy. I looked up at her, feeling tears welling up. That day she had said she was going to meet Simon for our contract, she had lied... she was out with this Alex boy. The days she had said she was out with Ellie or Caitlin, she was with this boy. Yesterday she had gotten all dressed up, not for me, but for this Alex boy. I would've thought they maybe might've been friends if she had not lied to me about him all this time, making up excuses just to see him and spend time with him.

The worst part... she kissed him, she only used me as a rebound from Zayn, she took advantage of me. I didn't want to admit it, but I knew, deep down, I was falling in love with Perrie. I knew she didn't like me the way I liked, nearly loved her. But now she's just taken my heart and stomped on it, leaving it on the sidewalk as if it meant nothing. As if... I meant nothing... nothing at all. 

I stood up keeping my head low, I slammed my phone in front of her making sure she could see the pictures, ignoring all the couples staring at me, I ran. I heard her gasp, the out of the corner of my eye she leapt up and chased me trying to say something, but I don't need her excuses. I've heard enough lies already. She should just become an actress and leave me in peace because she'd make a fucking good one.

I ran for another minute, when I looked back, she wasn't there. Further confirming my suspicions that she didn't need me, or even love me just as a best friend. I stood there looking back at the direction I came from. After a moment I reached in my pocket to try get my phone and ring Zack or Holly, my roommates, to come pick me up when I realised I left my phone at the restaurant. Walking into the tight dark alleyway I slid down to the ground, slowly crying my heart out.

'Hello baby girl,' a gruff voice rang out, followed by deep chuckles. I froze, suddenly realising the danger I had put myself in, coming into the alleyway had been a mistake. Feeling a pair of hands pull me up, ripping my top in the process, my eyes met a pair of ocean blue eyes.

They were the same shade as hers, I want to hate them, but I can't. I had grown to love that colour. But these were different, much less friendly..

'We've got one lads,' he called out 'rather nice one, I might add,' he smirked. I heard a chorus of laughs and glass clinking, before he dragged me further into the alleyway.
