chapter 22

Perrie POV

Everything's perfect, I held onto the basket I packed full of biscuits and a bouquet of tulips in my other hand, slightly shaking I elbowed the doorbell. 'Jadey pooooooo, your lover's hereeeee!' I heard from just behind the door, was that Louis? The door swung open to reveal a smiling Lou, I wrapped my arm holding the flowers lightly around him, 'cheating on me already are we, Edwards?' A voice giggled, I quickly released Lou and turned to Jade, I quickly handed the tulips to her, 'theseareforyou..' I said quickly, she laughed and handed the tulips to Louis asking him to put them in a vase.

As we walked towards the beach I scooped her hand in mine, I swear she blushed, we made light conversation until we finally arrived at a deserted spot on the beautiful clean sand. I laid my towel down and patted it for her to sit. 'Uhm, here,' I pass her a packet of her favourite biscuits. We spent the whole day sitting around and talking, by sunset we started walking back. 'Thank you Pez, I had so much fun.' I smiled, 'me too,' I gave her a soft kiss on the cheek, 'how does a second date sound?' 'Perfect,' I gave her a hug and left.

We pulled up at the zoo Jade had suggested, the boys sped out of the car as soon as I opened the door. We spent the first half of the day looking through the reptile houses and the open fields where wallabies bounced around. By lunch the boys were pretty much worn out... until we reached the zoo cafe, they sped off to the playground all their tiredness vanished. While they played and Jade went to find a table, I quickly ordered some sandwiches for Jade and I and Dino nuggies with chips for the boys. We spent the rest of the day looking at all the other animals and we watched a bird show, where Jade was pooped on. Finally ending the day with some ice-cream, the boys fell asleep on the way back to Jade's house.

I carried them up to their bedroom and by the time I got back down Jade had already sat down and started watching Tangled, 'mind if I stay and watch with you?' She didn't reply but she lifted up her blanket and patted the spot next to her, I sat. We spent the rest of the movie snuggled up and she eventually fell asleep in my arms.

Narrator POV

Over the next 3 years, Little Mix had officially moved from England to a permanent location in Australia and had blown up becoming known in every corner of the world. Though Jade and Perrie's relationship had not been announced to the public, they were going as strong as ever behind the scenes. The boys had started going to school and they were loving it. Jade and Perrie were constantly surrounded with love and support, little did Jade know, Perrie had a little surprise in store for her.

Jade POV

'JADE HURRY UP, IM GONNA BE LATE.' I heard Leigh-Anne yell, she and Andre had tied the knot last year and now they were expecting. I had to take her to her first ever ultrasound because Andre was overseas playing some game. Jes and my Pez were out shopping for Jonnie's birthday gift. 'ALRIGHT IM COMING,' I yelled back, 'EW NO DON'T DO THAT JUST GET DOWN HERE WE'RE LEAVING,' I smacked my forehead, ugh Leigh-Anne.

'Alright, Mrs Pincock-Gray-' the doctor started and I sniggered, 'THAT'S NOT MY NAME!' she grouched, 'Oh, I apologise, your friend here,' waving at me, 'wrote that as your name,' Leigh glared at me, 'well, it's Pinnock-Gray,' he nodded, 'well Mrs, I have some news, wether it's good news or bad news, that's up to you,' he rambled on, 'get on with it,' she snapped. 'You're pregnant with twins!' He showed us the ultrasound photos, we both squealed, I looked over at Leigh-Anne and she looked like she was about to faint, I held her in a tight hug.

'Ok, I wanna go shopping,' I rolled my eyes, typical Leigh, 'yea sure, why not.'

Perrie POV

Everything was finally ready, 'PEZ, LEIGH TEXTED, THEY'RE ON THEIR WAY!' Even though everything was all ready I started feeling very flustered and nervous. I had to make this perfect for Jade. 'ARE YOU STUPID WOMAN?! GO HIDE!' right, I ran around and hid behind the wall. When I peeked around, I saw her, I gave a signal and Leigh-Anne stopped walking right in the middle of the open shopping area. I saw Jade look around confused. I stepped out of my hiding spot, which was behind her, I slowly and quietly walked up behind her and tapped her shoulder. Leigh then ran off, leaving the area empty for just Jade and I.

As she turned around, I had knelt down on one knee, holding a bouquet of roses in one hand and a ring in the other. Her hands flew to her mouth and her eyes widened, I took a deep breath, 'Jade, ever since we have been together, you make me feel more alive, more complete, more loved, you've shown me what happiness means, you make me a better person when I'm by your side. Will you make me the happiest person alive and marry me?' She nodded frantically and jumped onto me engulfing me into one of the tightest hugs in my life, I heard clapping from all around the shopping centre. She let go of me and cupped my cheeks, 'thank you Pez, I will marry you,' she gave me a peck on the lips before I came back to my senses, 'I think this is where I put a ring on your finger,' I grinned as she held out her left hand, I slipped the ring on and I felt Leigh and Jesy smooshing us into a huge hug.

'Babe, I have another surprise,' she raised her eyebrows at me, so I pointed behind her, as she turned around her family wrapped her up in the middle of a hug. (I love hugs, idk) As they let go of her, her dad dragged her over to me, 'thank you, Perrie, for bringing us all here. Treat my Jade well or else,' he winked and booped Jade's nose before walking back to the rest of her family. Karl Jr., Amara and Leoni ran over to us and started dragging us off to the toy shop. I smirked at Jade and she giggled, I grabbed her hand and walked with her nieces and nephew to the toy shop.

Jade Thirlwall is officially my fiancé.
