Remember Me [Levi x reader]

New roommates

I tangled my fingers in my hair, grunting loudly. I was standing in the middle of the sidewalk, looking from side to side in attempt to find the blonde boy that just left but it was pointless.

"Fuck!" I kicked a rock that was standing by my feet. I started stomping back towards the university. I didn't feel like taking the bus since it was a good weather outside.

I knew it was gonna turn out like that. It always does. I knew that by the end of the day one of us would be hurt. Nothing ever goes right for me.

A sound was heard from my phone and I lowered my head to see what it was.

Levi:
Brat, you done with that thing?

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. 'Thing? Does he mean today's date?' I groaned once more. I couldn't exactly go hang out with Levi right now, I needed to make it up to Armin somehow and explain the situation.

I ignored Levi's message and entered the dorm building. I hurried to my dorm. 'With a bit of luck, maybe Armin will forgive me.' I thought to myself, though I knew how ridiculous that wish was.

"Eren, open the fucking door!" I knocked furiously on the door, making a lot of noise. Footsteps approached the door and then it opened just a little. Only enough for me to see Eren's mad, annoying face.

"Armin doesn't wanna talk you know?" He said. I clicked my tongue and sighed heavily.

"Does it look like I care? Just let me in and I can explain myself." I put my foot on the door and started pushing it slightly in attempt to let myself in.

"Well you should care, considering he's been your friend since high school." Eren spat and kicked my foot off the door with his own.

It was true. Armin has been with me since high school and he was the one who helped me with all of my family issues and I was the one who dragged him here. Knowing he could play piano, it was a great opportunity for me to not be alone in college and therefore I proposed him to come along with me...and he accepted.

"Look- I just need to explain some things. Please." I put my hand on my head, attempting to stop some tears from falling. I don't wanna lose my best friend because I'm a dumbass.

"Just go away Y/n. For now." Eren said as he shut the door in my face.

"And where am I supposed to stay?!" I shouted but received no response. I hit the wall with my fist, thinking that would relieve some of the anger but it didn't.

I turned on my heel and made my way towards Ymir's dorm. She was sharing it with Sasha so it couldn't be that cramped. I wanted to talk to her to see if I could sleep there at least tonight because it looks like Eren wasn't gonna let me in.

On the way I grabbed my phone and texted Armin.

Me:
Armin, I'm sorry. Just please let me explain.

I didn't think he would reply but it was worth a try. Ymir opened the door after I knocked and looked at me with an almost disgusted face.

"Look Ymir can I just stay here for tonight? I fucked up and-"

"I know Y/n. You fucked up badly. You should go and sort it out." Her voice was cold and she didn't greet me in the silly way she usually does.

"How do you know?"

"Well Armin came back really upset and when I asked Eren about it he told me." 'Fuck! Eren should mind his own fucking business.'

"Look I would go and sort it out but Eren doesn't let me inside. So can I stay here until that angry fucking bastard regains his common sense and lets me in?" I looked at her with hopeful eyes but she lightly shook her head.

"Sorry Y/n, I don't have room."

"But-"

"I said sorry." Ymir shut the door in my face just like Eren did. 'Why the hell is everyone stupid today?'

Levi:
Brat, are you gonna reply or what?

Levi wrote me another message but I ignored it again. I leaned on the wall and sat on the floor, putting my head on my hands, letting some tears spill out.

"You okay there?" Somebody asked. I slowly lifted my head up and looked at the male in front of me that had his hand gently placed on my shoulder.

"Yeah...I just...I don't know where the fuck to go." I sighed heavily and told him the matter.

"To your dorm?" He suggested.

"I can't cause my goddamn roommate is not letting me in."

"Look, I live in an apartment not far from here and I don't live alone, I live with another person but there's a spare room." I raised an eyebrow at his suggestion. 'Should I go with this stranger?'

"You study here?" I asked.

"Yeah." 'I guess if he studies here...it's alright.'

"Alright. I'll stay at your place for a night or two." I stood up and dusted myself off.

"That's fine with me. What's your name?" He asked.

"Y/n. Yours?" I put out my hand so he could shake it.

"Floch." He said as he grabbed it firmly and gave it a shake.

"So mind telling me what's got you so upset?" Floch asked as he put a cup of tea in front of me. I thanked him and started explaining.

"So I accidentally agreed to go on this date and then I spoke to the guy I was on a date with about my crush. And he got pretty pissed." I took a sip from the warm tea, closing my eyes in delight.

"Mm. And why don't you go and explain yourself?"

"Cause my roommate doesn't let me inside." I rolled my eyes at Eren's childishness. Floch hummed again and took another sip of his tea. Our silence was interrupted by a knock on the door.

"That must be my roommate." Floch said, getting up to open the door.

"Won't your roommate be mad? I mean you just invited another person over."

"Nah. He's pretty chill." Floch assured me and opened the door. I could hear another male voice that sounded familiar in some way but just couldn't put my finger on it.

"Y/n, this is-" I turned around and my eyes widened.

"Zeke?" Zeke looked at me just as surprised as I was.

"Y/n?"

'God what have I gotten myself into?'
