Remember Me [Levi x reader]

Back to normal

It's been two days and I still haven't gone to any of my classes. I've gotten a few calls from Levi, Hange, Mikasa and surprisingly Eren and Armin. Aside from calling they've been texting me too, however I couldn't really explain what was going through my head. It was strangely weird.

Flashback

"I've been thinking of quitting piano."

"Huh? Why? Don't you love it?" Zeke was just as surprised as me. I never really thought I would ever think of quitting.

"I did love it. I really did but...I don't know it just feels like a lot of pressure. And I don't feel like I really belong in the musical field anymore." I spoke looking at my feet.

"Don't belong in the musical field...I call that bullshit." Zeke said. I sighed heavily and went back inside. "Y/n, you're talented so I don't think you should give up piano because I know that you still like to play it." Zeke followed me around the apartment as he spoke.

"I just have so much on my mind right now...I don't even know what to do."

End of flashback

As I was laying in bed, scrolling through my phone, I got a phone call again. I sat for a few seconds thinking if I should pick up or not. With a bit of hesitation I put the phone to my ear.

"Hello?" I heard a sigh as soon as I responded.

"Y/n, where are you?!" The male voice rang through the phone.

"Why do you need to know?" I fiddled with my shirt as I spoke.

"So I can come and get you. I know you haven't been to any of your classes and I was worried you know?"

"Worried about what?" A tint of curiosity could be heard in my voice.

"What if you got kidnapped or something." I stifled a laugh. He really thinks I would let myself get kidnapped.

"Levi, relax. I'm alright, I just don't wanna return yet." I said. I could hear him sigh.

"No brat. I'll come and pick your ass up right now, in this second." I could hear shuffling through the phone.

"You don't know my location though."

"You're gonna send it to me." I rolled my eyes.

"And what if I don't want to?" He let put a groan, seeming irritated.

"I'm not asking. Send it now." His voice was stern and I could tell he wasn't playing around. I gulped before I spoke again.

"Fine." He hung up the phone and I shared my location with him. As much as I didn't wanna go back, I knew I needed to.

I couldn't just wait for the matters to get solved on their own. I'm an adult so I needed to face this situation like an adult. As I waited for Levi, I realized just how dumb were my actions these past few days. I was overpowered by my emotions and therefore I made wrong decisions.

I heard loud knocking on the door as I was taken away from my thoughts. I rushed to open the door.

I was given an unexpected, tight hug from Levi. It took a few seconds for me to hug back but I eventually did.

"For fuck's sake Y/n. You had me so worried." I stood there in shock, not expecting him to say that. "Let's go." He pulled away and took my hand, holding it tight like I would disappear if he let go even a little.

The drive to the university was silent. Neither of us spoke to each other. But I could tell there was a lot Levi wanted to say.

He got out of the care and walked over to my side and opened the door for me. I thanked him and gave him a gentle smile. Suddenly I noticed he stopped walking.

"Levi? Why did you stop?" I asked. There were about three meters of distance between us but neither of us walked closer to each other.

"I- there's something I want you to know. You don't have to say anything. Just listen." I looked at him confused but I nodded anyway.

"You-you're special to me. Very special. And I'm not good with words. I'm not good at all but I want you to understand that you mean very much to me...like...more than a friend would mean to me." By the time he finished talking, he was looking at the ground, blushing heavily. I was happy and I though it was so cute, the way he tried to explain his feelings. I let out a chuckle that caused him to lift his head and look at me.

I walked to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"You're one lucky man Levi. I feel the same."

"Huh? Wait-Y-you do?!" He was so surprised that it looked funny so I just burst into laughter.

"Yes. Now we can talk about this later...I have to talk to my friends." Levi nodded and we walked into the dorm building, heading straight towards mine.

I took in a breath before knocking. Levi reassured me by putting his hand on my shoulder.

"What do yo- Y/n?!!" Eren opened the door and he was shocked to see me. I waved at him, being a bit nervous.

"Oh my god Y/n, I'm so glad you're okay!" He hugged me tightly. I hugged him back and he muttered a sorry.

"It's ok, you don't have to apologize. It was my fault too." I scratched the back of my neck and smiled at him. "Is...Armin here?"" I asked hesitantly.

"Yeah he's here." Eren stepped aside so I could enter. Armin was sitting on his bed, reading a book. He glanced up and once his eyes landed on me, he sat up.

"Y/n! Don't run away like that ever again!" He hugged me and a tear spilled down my cheek. I missed my friends so much and I didn't even realize it.

"I'm sorry." I apologized. I still felt guilty.

"It's okay...people make mistakes. That's just who we are. I know you didn't mean to hurt me." He tried assuring me.

"But still. I'm sorry. Seriously...I'm sorry." I continued apologizing again and again.

"I know, I know you're sorry okay? So stop apologizing. I'm sorry too." Armin rubbed my shoulder in attempt to comfort me.

"Why are you sorry?"

"It was childish of me to ignore you. After all if I hadn't ignored you, you wouldn't have run away to god knows where." I smiled knowing that I still had my friends.

"So...we're back to how we were? We're not mad at each other anymore?" I asked as I turned to face Eren as well.

"That's right Y/n." They gave me a oat on the head.

"Y/n! Can I talk to you for a second?" Levi stepped inside the dorm.

"Sure." I smiled as we went into the hallway so we could talk without being interrupted.

"I really didn't want to ask you this in this dirty ass hallway but these are the circumstances so...Y/n." He looked at me with gentle eyes that I didn't see very often.

"Yeah?"

"Would you like to be my girlfriend?"

"Yes." I gave him a smile, which he returned.

He took me by surprise as he locked his lips with mine, allowing me to fill their softness. I smiled into the kiss and pulled away shyly.

"I'm glad you feel the same as I do." I said as I nuzzled into his chest, a blush spreading across my cheeks.

"Me too brat." He kissed the top of my head. "Y/n."

"What?"

"Have you been...smoking?"

"Shit um...yes...sorry."

"Tch. Don't do it again, that shit kills you."

"Okay."

'I'm glad everything is back to normal.'
