"Mommy! Daddy is on his way!" nginitian ko ang anak ko habang tinatapos ko ang niluluto ko. Hindi ko mapigilan ang kasiyahan ko, it's been 4 months since Jolo and I made up. Nothing much happened during those 4 months.

We were a happy family. He tried his best to assure me na ako lang ang babae sa buhay niya and I am happy that I chose to trust him. My son helped me prepare the table. Sobryang saya niya ng malaman niya na dito kakain ng tanghalian ang daddy niya kaya he finished all of his homework last night para lang ma tulungan ako sa pag hahanda.

Naging malapit na din si Zylex sa kanyang ama at halos ayaw na nito mawalay sa kanyang ama. Nilabas ko na ang binake ko na cake sa fridge at inayos ang decorations nito when I heard my son shouting "Mommy! Daddy is here! Hurry up mommy!"

I chuckled when I saw my son nearly dragging his father "Calm down son. Baka hindi pa tapos ang mommy mo sa pag luluto"

"Nope. I am done na din naman. You are just in time" he came up to me and kissed my cheek "They all look delicious wife" I smirked at him "Yeah, hindi mo pa ako asawa Bustamante. Huwag kang kampante"

I saw him frowning. Mukhang nagtaka naman kaagad ang anak niya kung bakit nag iba ang mood ng tatay niya, hindi ko napigilan ang pag tawa ko "You look constipated, Jolo" tinaasan niya lamang ako ng kilay "Kasalanan mo to, wife"

I shrugged his remark at inilagay ko na sa hapag kainan ang mga niluto ko. Zylex clapped happily when he saw that I cooked his favorite steak. "You cooked a lot mommy! They all look so yummy! Right, daddy?" Jolo nodded and patted his son's head "Your mom sure did cook a lot son"

I seated in front of Jolo while Zylex was beside him "Now, why don't we pray before eating? Zylex, sweety? Can you lead us our prayer?" I asked my son and he happily nodded

"In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, amen. Dear God, thank you so much for all the food that we have here in front of us. Thank you for bringing us together again. I wish that we will always be like this forever. Thank you because mommy and daddy are with me. I am really happy! I could not ask for more. I promise that I will be a good boy to mommy and daddy. Please guide my mommy and daddy always. Oh! Also, I wish to have a baby sister soon! In Jesus's name we pray, amen. Yaaay! Food time!"

I smiled at my son's prayer, me too son. I'm happy because we are finally complete. I was about to put food on Jolo's plate when he stopped me "Ako na. I know you're tired. Ang dami dami ba naman ng niluto mo" he took the serving spoon at siya na mismo ang nag lagay ng pagkain sa plato ko.

After eating, Zylex wanted to watch Marvel movies kaya pumunta kami sa movie room at hinanda din ni Jolo ang movie while I prepared our snacks. I could not stop smiling every time I see my son, he never stopped smiling.

"He's knocked out" Jolo chuckled while placing Zylex on his bed "Well, ang dami din namna kasi ng ginawa natin buong araw. And he enjoyed it" I giggled, yeah we did a lot today. Both of them played video games and they helped me bake cookies pero they ended up messing the whole kitchen since both of them threw flour at each other.

I was at my room changing since I feel a bit sticky dahil na din siguro sa pawis at sa itlog kanina. I was brushing my hair when I felt someone hugged me from the back. I smiled when I see his face on the mirror. He buried his face on my neck and started smelling me.

"Thank you, Fiona"

"I should be the one thank you. Umabsent ka para lang makasama kami ni Zylex ngayong araw"

"No. I meant thank you for choosing me before. Thank you for giving me a chance. Thank you for entering my life. Most especially, thank you for being brave. Despite everything that has happened to you before, kung hindi ka naging matatag, baka wala si Zylex ngayon. Kaya thank you"

I could feel my tears flowing down from my eyes. Jolo immediately wiped my tears away "Shhh. Baby don't cry. I'm here now. I will never leave you again. Never again"

He made me face him and he cupped my face "I love you so much, Fiona"
