Inside the University of Seoul, Jade was characterized as especially beautiful. She has perfect body proportions and fine facial features. She also has prominent, arched eyebrows, hazel eyes, and a pointed nose. Jade prefers to keep her hair waist-length and according to most boys, she could pull off any hair color she wants to - she changed her color thrice last school year, catching people's attention without her knowing.
Besides her beauty, people also appreciate her kindness, as well as her good social skills. But even with Jade's undeniable beauty and personality, she never had a boyfriend her whole life. Sure, boys ask her out every so often but she declines every time that happens. With that being said, Jade never imagined having her first kiss romantically - she never even thought of having a romantic relationship with anyone yet even when she's already turned 19.
In that dream, however, after she kissed Parallel Universe Theodore Lockhart, she felt tingly inside. It wasn't because she felt something romantically from that, she assumed it was because it was her first time. She never thought she'd do that, in all honesty, but she felt like it was the easiest thing to do to put off the cocky prince.
Justin Hastings was already standing beside her when she woke up, his eyes looking concerned. "You dreamed about him, didn't you?"
"What?" Jade said, "No!"
"What did he say?" Justin pulled his chair beside hers to listen to her story. "Did he say something about the plans of the Empyrean army or something?"
"I said, I didn't see him in my dreams, Hastings." Jade insisted, not wanting to talk about what just happened.
Yet the boy with her was better in terms of persuasion. "Thompson, tell me what you talked about."
Jade groaned in frustration. "If you guys just want to talk to each other, I'll tell him to visit you in your dreams instead. Why do you two keep on asking me questions about each other?!"
"He asked something about me?"
She threw him a glare before answering, "He asked if you talked about him, I said no. He didn't believe me like you just did so he said I shouldn't listen to what you tell me about him. He threatened me that I should go back to Empyrea to know more about myself. I declined. Just who does he think he is for me to accept such a risky offer? Besides, he's more suspicious than you are so my pick is you."
Justin felt kind of happy after hearing Jade trusted him more than the Prince. "If he appears in your dream again, make him lose focus ."
"Oh we're not going to meet each other again. I told him to stop appearing in my dreams. I hope he got the message - it was simple and very straightforward."
"You're brave, Thompson." The corner of his lip turned up. "Prince Theo doesn't just let someone go when he's already got them. It's a surprise he let you leave the dream."
"I have my ways." Jade confidently said.
Reverie was still unconscious when Lionel Thompson came by her ward. He brought food for the two teens and a bag of Jade's clothes to change.
"I'm afraid I don't have something for you to change, Justin." Lionel told her daughter's classmate, "My size is a lot bigger than yours." Lionel Thompson indeed was two sizes bigger than Justin.
"You can go home first if you want to, Hastings." Jade said, "I can look after Rev for a while."
"I'll be going home now, Jade. I left the twins in our unit alone." Lionel said.
It was then that Jade realized that it's already a Saturday and her dad doesn't have a shift for that day. "I can manage."
"I'll get back here in half an hour. Keep these curtains close so no soldier would see you right away. If you don't hear noises around you, stop moving." Justin said before he got up. "Understand?" Jade nodded with a thumbs up.
