Baring its teeth, Jade only thought of one option for her survival. She doesn't have time to think twice about this wolf's life. She needed to get to Theodore. With that, she removed one of her gloves and smacked her hand on the wolf's snout. Surprised, the dire wolf lost its balance, making Jade able to hold one of its legs and wrap her hand around it firmly.

The dire wolf yelped in pain while Jade could feel its bones breaking from her hold. In at least ten seconds, the creature felt its bones crushing one by one until its body couldn't hold it any longer. After that, she loosened her grip and threw the dire wolf just as its body exploded.

Scrambling to her feet, she wore her glove back and hurriedly went to Theodore, who was already on the ground.

The person holding the sword managed to stab the Prince's side, making Jade slam his body to a nearby tree. Breathing heavily, Jade walked towards the man who hurt Theodore. She stopped walking when she was already in front of him. With her power, she cupped her hand as if she was choking the person. Lifting him, her anger rising as seconds went by, she made a fist with her hand, crushing the enemy's esophagus, thus, making him unable to breathe.

A dire wolf appeared beside her. She was about to lift her other hand when she noticed the creature was not attacking her. Looking at the wolf's eyes, she finally realized that it was her best friend, Rev. "He hurt Theodore," she explained in her defense. Satisfied with the person's suffering, she moved her hand to the side, the man's body following the gesture and crushing yet to another tree. "I'm sorry," she told Rev, then went to Theodore's side.

The Prince was lying on Jenevieve's leg when she arrived. When they saw her, Jenevieve slowly lifted Theodore's head and waited for Jade to replace her. "Ren is finding Lilac to teleport him back to his mother's realm to heal him."

"Lyra Jade," Theodore breathed, his eyes already hooded.

"I'm here," Jade said, "Please stay with me, Theodore. Don't close your eyes." She held his cheek with her gloved hand. "Please just wait a little more."

"Got her!" Ren returned with him holding Lilac in bridal style. "She is not looking that good as well."

Lilac rushed to the Prince's side and looked at his hand. "What happened?"

"Someone drew his sword at him when he was away from all of us," Jenevieve answered. "His hand was smoking when he touched the sword. What does that mean?"

The fairy looked around and found a sword lying on the ground by Jenevieve's feet. "It may be made of iron. Fairies are extremely weak to iron, it burns our flesh and it would never fully heal." She frowned at the Prince. "I can close your wound but I am afraid that my energy right now would not be enough to entirely heal you."

"Please... just do something," Jade begged, her eyes never leaving Theodore while he fought the pain.

"We need to bring him to a safer place," Lilac said. With almost the last of her strength, she yelled, "Oleander!"

Within seconds, the vampire was already standing beside Jenevieve. "Someone called?"

"Can you carry two people? We need to bring him outside the village first."

Oleander scoffed. "Of course, I can."

Lilac looked at Jade. "It looks like your group is almost done killing all dire wolves. If you want to stay with him, you can ask one of Kieran's brothers. We will wait for you by the huge boulder a little further from the village's entrance."

Jade nodded before the three left them.

Jenevieve placed a hand on Jade's shoulder. "He will be fine. Let us help the others so this will be over before we check on him. You know he wants us to end this quickly."
