I got the gift from my bag and hurried back to our spot. I don't want Naruto dying or anything. If he dies then I want to do it with my bare hands. What?

I made it to the spot and Naruto sat up like an excited puppy when he saw me and the gift.

"Oh my god!" He exclaimed. I couldn't help the small smile on my face as I sat down and handed it to him.

"Babe, what's all this for?" He asked, looking at the gift-wrapped box.

[Happy one month of being sober!] I sign and wait for him to start opening his gift.

He looked at me, his eyes shocked.

"It's been a month?" He said more to himself than me.

"Wait you." He paused, his brows furrowed. "You were counting the days? You like, remembered and." He covered his mouth.  "No way. It's been a month already?"

[Of course, I'd remember this. I'm so proud of you!]

"What, you said you want to get married?" He said, making me chuckle.

[Not yet.]

"Oh! Yet!" He said excitedly.

[I mean. Just open it.] My face feels hotter by the second. Ugh, why'd he say that?

"Okay okay." He tore at the paper like a child on Christmas morning then opened the lid of the box.

Naruto didn't say anything, just staring at the box in his hands. What's wrong? Does he not like it? He pressed a hand on his eyes for a few seconds then took it off.

[Do you not like it?] I ask, feeling my heart sink. I know I suck at gifts but I thought he might like it.

"Sasuke." He lowered his head, letting out a harsh breath. "I'm trying not to cry right now."

Aw, I don't want him to cry.

He looked back up at me for a second before looking back in the box.

"Seriously you." He paused again. "You don't know how much this means to me wow."

"Like I don't even want to touch it. I just want to keep it like this."

I laughed. No, I want him to see what I got for him. I motioned for him to take the stuff out and he did. First picking up the letter.

"Should I read it first or wait till I see everything else."

I shrug.

[There's no order to it.] I explain.

"Hm... Okay I'll open it first." He took the envelope and carefully opened it and first took out the few photos I put in there of us.
