Bard comes from a family of monster hunters, the Huxley Family. They recently started practicing monster hunting. Due to this they have suffered many losses and injuries. Causing many members to become cold and strange. Bard is no exception, but he does still have a heart behind his distant and calculating exterior. He is mostly bitter and keeps to himself when he is able.

_ " Screaming Night " _
Bard's personal favorite weapon, Screaming Night was his father's sword before he passed away. Screaming Night got it's name when Gregory, Bard's father, found out that if monster blood is spilled onto the purple crystal on the hilt, the sword makes a strange sound whenever it defeats monsters. The sound resembles one of a scream.
Though Bard doesn't really like the name of the sword, he just refers to it as 'Night'.

_ " Brent and Bethany " _
These weapons were named after Bard's deceased niece and little brother. A blacksmith made this after Bard helped her and saved her friends from trolls that attacked. Around this time was when Bard had learned about the passing of a few of his family members, hence the name.
