During the day Electrula is just a wall street yuppie. Victim to the mindless work machine, Corey Giles gets his pay and lives luxuriously among fakes and fortunes. As a child he would spend most of his time reading comic books. And coming from a family of wealth he had quite the collection of comics and memorabilia. The comic industry basically raised him, his parents were too busy at work or at parties or bars. The man of steel, the Amazon warrior, and dark knight were all his heroes. And the starters for Corey's life long journey and mission. To be a superhero. At around the age of 14, he started taking martial arts classes. He would spend a year or two on one art and move onto another after mastering it. After about 8 years, he's mastered 4 forms of martial arts. He also became quite the free runner during those years. Then, tragedy struck. No, his family weren't gunned down in the streets. No, his planet wasn't destroyed. And no, he didn't receive a vision from a higher being.
His workplace and coworkers were victim to robbery and organized crime.
The robbery cost him friends and his job. This was the catalyst for him to start up his vigilante career.
After getting the materials, equipment, and help, he made his costume and gadgets. He would then make his mark on the criminal world as the world's first real caped crusader.
Despite the silly name, Electrula takes his self-appointed job as a vigilante quite seriously. A man of business during the day, a harsh distributer of help and pain by night. Drawing heavy inspiration from Batman comics, he themed his costume and behavior around the caped crusader. Though some to most of his gadgets were designed after Nightwing's line of crime fighting gadgets. Electrula's main weapons drawing heavy design similarities from Nightwing's electric batons.
An expert in muay thai, kick boxing, boxing, wrestling, and parkour, this makes him quite the opponent in combat. In a world of mostly petty criminals, Electrula does pretty damn well.
Christ this is all over the place. Well anyway I wrote this a month ago on Discord. I just copy pasted the stuff out of order to here. I might go through it and fix it up. I have plans for Giles but unsure if I should at all. But meh.
