"Hey, I heard you're one of Max's girl's," the man slurred as he approached me.

I looked over at the two drunken men who spotted me walking from work. I just finished dealing with drunk customers at the bar and now these assholes? I could finish them off quickly with pressure points, but the last time I stood up for myself, I got fired and landed myself in the mess I was currently in with Max.

"I'm not for hire," I said. I'm only seventeen, sick bastards.

Turning away, I planned to leave, but the men did not take no for an answer, grabbing onto my shoulder.

"Hey, no need to play hard to get. Any girl that works for Max is for hire."

"Not. me."

"That's not what he said," the second man smirked.

"What?" I asked, turning around.

"Max said we could have you."

"He said that?"

"Sure did."

I felt my heart shrink at that. Max was an ass, everyone knew that, but I still felt like we had some sort of bond. Even if it wasn't the healthiest, I thought I was an exception to him. I wasn't like the other girls he kept around. He wouldn't toss me around. I was his alone. Funny how that became the ideal for me.

But I guess he grew tired of me. Like they all do. I mean... why wouldn't they? There was nothing fun or exciting about me. I was too smart for my own good and yet the biggest idiot on the face of the planet.

"So how about we find a hotel," the guy pressed, coming closer and reaching out with a filthy hand.

"Get away from me!" I spat, swatting his hand away, "You filthy pig."

"WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME, YOU FUCKING WHORE?" The man demanded, enraged and charged forward, slamming me hard against the wall. I aim to jab his large intestine ten pressure point to loosen his grip, but he slams me again, knocking the breath out of me.
