"There have been no territory trespassing. With the North focussed on the International gathering and Kyle dealing with them there, things are going smoothly in Tygerwell," Nixon explains.
I'm slumped behind my desk in the grand foyer as most meetings, but the slight dent in the heavy metal of the desk reminds me that things are in fact not all smooth in Tygerwell as the bunch of idiots in front of me claims. I stare them down. Nixon, as well as two dozen other men.
"I'm afraid that for the moment, the threat is not from the North, but from within," I say, my head propped up by my hand as I watch with judging eyes. "It had barely been two days since you had to clean this room up and yet you're so bold as to declare things in Tygerwell as going smoothly."
The men all stiffen.
"Perhaps your definition of the word 'smoothly' is different from mine? I define it as complete control with nothing and no one stepping out of line. Things are going as they should. And you? Maybe your definition is also things going as they should, but those things involve me ending up dead," I say.
Everyone watches me intently, too afraid to blink. I should make an example out of a couple of them. I should cut off Nixon's head and put it on display. And yet...
You can't just kill everyone you dissagree with.
"This incident will be your last warning," I say, causing everyone to look a little confused. "Though you all played a part and some deserve nothing less than death, I will over look it this one time. But step out of line again, and I won't be so inclined to show mercy."
All at once, everyone takes the breath they have been holding. No doubt, they expected the worse and coming out untouched seems surreal to them.
"Furthermore, I will be making some changes regarding the business," I continue.
"But Kyle is not here," someone interrupts, earning a glare from me.
"Kyle is managing the international gathering and I'm managing things here in Tygerwell for now. If you have a problem with that, I suggest you keep it to yourself." With no one daring to interrupt again, I continue, "In regards with the trafficking, we are cutting them off. Cutting their heads off to be more exact. Nixon, I'll put you in charge of hunting everyone down from Dolls."
