I bit my lower lip. First love... 

Now, I'm thinking, is the saying that 'first love don't die' true? 

I sighed and got the ponytail that Jude gave me at itinali ang buhok ko dahil bahagya na akong naiinitan. 

"You are her best friend, right?" 

I nodded. She's the one who helped me make who I am right now. She slapped me that this world is not all about rainbows and sunshine but also lots of storms and tornados. She basically taught me... most things that until now, I value. 

"She's the reason why I am a writer right now," I stated, making him look at me. I clicked my tongue. "Do you want to know a secret?" 

Hesitant, he nodded. 

"Her last wish was... Her last wish was for me to continue her stories. Be a writer and write for her," it was like, she planned it all along. It was what made me cry whenever I remember her. She was suffering a lot and yet, no one knew. Not even me. It was like she planned her death and there was even a list of her wishes. 

"You know my first five books? She wrote that but all of them are just half-way done when it was passed to me. I knew the plot so she made me finish it. Some of my stories now are also from her mind," I heaved a sigh. "How about you? How did you met?" 

"You read 'With All Hopes', right?" I answered yes, he was pertaining to his book. "That's exactly what happened," 

I bit my lower lip. Tears badly want to flow down because... tangina, si Rhaela ang usapan, e'. 

We stayed there, silent. I have a hint on how this day is gonna end but I am convincing myself that, no, it will not happen. 

Pero... si Rhaela. 

"Ikaw kaya 'yung kinu-kwento niya sa 'kin na tatlong letra ang pangalan?" Tanong ko habang nakatingin sa bintana kung saan kita ang ibang parte ng puno. 

"Maybe,"

"Ikaw ba 'yung tumulong sa kaniya noong may nang-bully sa kaniya?" 

"Yeah, that's me," 

I nodded, the tears I have been holding in started to fall, as if speaking for what I feel. "Well, I guess, you're also the one she's talking about," 

"H-huh?" 

"Nakalagay sa last wish niya ay ang sabihin sa 'yo na..." napatigil ako at hindi ko na napigilan dahil may hikbi na lumabas mula sa bibig ko. Tinakpan ko ng dalawang kamay ko ang mukha ko at umiyak lang ako. 

My legs are near mine while I'm slightly leaning my back against the wall. Sinulyapan ko siya and I saw him resting the back of his head against the wall habang nakatulala sa kung saan.
