it's been nearly two years since american teenager florence walsh's whirlwind romance with the crown prince himself, and it seems like now the almost seventeen year old is moving on with none other than tempest actor, oliver valentine!
yes, you read that right.
the crowne prince's ex-best friend and ex-girlfriend have many people speculating that there's something going on between them.
in case you live under a rock, here's the rundown with florence:
florence is from massachusetts and had just turned fifteen when she traveled with her family to london for a nice vacation, where she met the prince, who had been promised to evie king by that point. he himself confirmed that the american seduced him only three months later, shoving the fifteen year old into the spotlight. the two split after, and she returned back to massachusetts. in the years since, sources have claimed that she's a bit of a loner at school, and is often subjected to harsh bullying.
oliver valentine, who, last year, was pretty tight with prince james and his crew, having filmed the third season of tempest not too far from buckingham palace. yes, that's right. once upon a time, prince james and oliver valentine were inseparable. oliver dished about their friendship a year ago to us, saying this:
"yeah, it's definitely a bit strange. i mean, he's got one of the most famous faces in the world, and i'm friends with him. we actually met a few months ago, like randomly on the street. we do stupid stuff together. i don't know. we're actually pretty similar, even though we're definitely not alike in a lot of ways. like i never would've thought that the crowne prince is as into fortnite as me, but here we are. at this point in my life, he's kinda my best friend."
after filming wrapped for tempest, the two seemed to go their separate ways, which was right around the time that it's speculated that daniela rose, oliver's girlfriend of nearly three years, had an affair with julian williams. rumor has it that the two are no longer on speaking terms after prince james sided with his cousin instead of his best friend.
oliver and florence were spotted yesterday showing some major pda in boston! one photo shows the two holding hands and laughing. in another, they're kissing while florence appears to be smiling. and in the one that has the most people talking, florence is perched between oliver's legs, who's leaning back against a tree. she's reading to kill a mockingbird out loud, while he rests his head on her shoulder. i'm not going to lie. it's kind of cute.
and while this new romance may come as a shock to us, it appears that the two have been getting pretty cozy for the past two months. rumor has it that the two, along with former child-star roman russell and oliver's tempest co-star, diana montgomery, are working on a project that will shock the world.
but how did these two even meet in the first place? well apparently, oliver and diana have been filming the fourth season of tempest at the very school that florence attends, and we can't help but wonder if that's a coincidence or not. maybe oliver was seeking some revenge on his ex-best friend, and figured the best way would be to go after the girl he's rumored to have never gotten over. and maybe florence is still scorned from the betrayal of a lifetime, and is seeking some payback herself.
however, oliver and florence have yet to comment on the pictures and their rumored relationship. so don't mind me, i'll just be over here eagerly waiting for the next chapter of this saga to unfold.
