Towards The Light.
Reina parks her car at the Star Hotel. She puts on a face mask and enters the hotel as holds Jaehyun's arm around her neck. She pays for the room and takes Jaehyun to their room. Jaehyun fell onto the bed as he grips the pillow tightly.
"Pull yourself together." Reina sets her purse down.
Jaehyun kept moaning and wallowing in sadness. Reina thought of everything that could happen to him but she hasn't gotten a single clue of what's happening to him.
"Talk to me. Is everything alright?"
"No." He sniffs quietly.
"What happened?"
"Everything."
Reina frowned as he gave her an off answer.
"I'm going to need you to be more specific."
Jaehyun turns around and looks at her as he wipes his face clean off.
"I lost my job."
"How?"
"Someone forged my boss's signature on a check and withdrew $800,000 from his account and the bank took the café from him until he pays that money back to the bank. But what makes it worse, if he doesn't pay back in a certain due date, he's going to prison."
"How did this happen?"
"I don't know. I've been looking for a lawyer to help us but they won't help unless I pay them."
"You won't need to."
"What are you talking about?" He sits up.
"I can help Baekhyun pay them back those $800,000. Without him doing anything. I'll talk to the bank and help you guys get the café back."
"Thanks for the help but this our problem to solve."
"Jaehyun? This isn't your problem. What matters right now is to prevent Baekhyun from going to jail, get the café back in your guy's hands, pay the bank back, and catch the punk who forged his signature."
"Let's say you can help us get our job back, but Baekhyun doesn't want to do it the easy way."
"Work smarter, not harder." She says.
"But..."
"By tomorrow, I can solve your problems and you and the others can return to work on Wednesday morning."
"Thank you so much." He hugs her firmly.
"Instead of doing things on your own, go and ask for help. Never hesitate to ask for help." She hugs him back.
"Do you want anything in return?" He asks her.
"Just stay by my side."
"I can do that." He smiles.
