Chapter 26

Difficult Circumstances.

"Ma'am?! Are you okay?!?" Someone in the crowd asks.

"Get out here!!" Mr. Garcia grabs the gun and points it at the crowd.

"SIR!! Put the gun down!!" The police officer yells.

"Never!!! This bitch is faking it!"

He gets on his knees grabs Reina and holds onto her as he points the gun towards her head. Reina was groaning in pain. She saw the blood running down from her bullet wound.

"Just shot me already!!" She manages to yell.

"Sir!! We are not going to repeat ourselves again!!! Let the woman go and put the gun down and put your damn hands in the air!!!"

"Like hell I will!!! This all Mateo's fault!!! He started all of this!! I am just making sure that his precious wife is going to pay the full price!!" He yells.

"I'll make sure to see you hell cutie!" He whispers to Reina.

As Mr. Garcia was about to pull the trigger on her, his body arches when a bullet pierced through his skull. The gun fell out of his hand. He slowly falls onto the ground.

"Everyone back off!!" The police yells.

Reina was laying on ground as she puts pressure onto her own wound.

"Stay with us Mrs. Lee!!! The ambulance is on their way!!"

Reina slowly closes her eyes as a tear drop sheds from her eyes. Her hands slowly fell off her stomach.

"Don't do this ma'am!! Stay with us!!!"

That was the last thing she heard before she fell unconscious from all the blood loss.

~Meanwhile; back at the hospital~

"How is she?" Jaehyun asks.

Chan walks into the lobby and hands Jaehyun a water bottle.

"Bad. Turns out she is 7 months into her pregnancy. Which means she going to have to give birth."

"Isn't it that bad?"

"Yeah, babies who are born really early will face many difficult challenges throughout their childhood years and possibly throughout their adult life." Chan says.

"What about Lucia? What caused her to have her pregnancy early?"

"It turns out that Lucia was pregnant with twins and in that moment she lost the other one and doctors are doing everything they can to save her other baby. Doctors say that Lucia won't survive the surgery."

"What are you talking about?"

"The doctors are saying one of them won't make it. They're either going to save the remaining twin or they're going save her life."

"Oh my god.." Jaehyun sighs.

"Can't they save both of them?" Jaehyun asks.
