*Y/N's Pov*

I held the gun to my head, attempting to shoot. I didn't want to be the only survivor.
Slowly playing with the trigger, I felt someone smack the weapon out of my hand. Before I could turn around to see who the culprit was, they hugged me from behind. I could see orange strands of hair from the corner of my eye. After some time the culprit released me from the hug.
I turned around to see a girl that seemed the same age as me, with orange hair and big green eyes.
She looked at me with confident but concerned eyes.

Y/N: Who are you.

I said with a cold expression, and stood up waiting for an answer.

???: I'm Emma!

She smiled.

Emma: What about you?

I examined her and she seemed like I could trust her.

Y/N: Names Y/N.

She softly smiled and looked to a particular area where it was only darkness then gestured.
I tilted my head in confusion and slowly I saw other kids coming out of hiding spots.
So all of these kids saw me have this dramatic moment...

Emma: You wanna stay for dinner?

She looked at me.

Y/N: ...Sure.

I wasn't the type to trust people right off the bat. Although Emma seemed like I could trust her. Unless that's just what she wants me to think...

Emma: Great!
???: Emma...

I turned and made eye contact with a boy with black hair that covered his eye.

Emma: We'll talk about it later.

She told the boy.

???: Hi! Names Don!

I turned around to see a taller boy.

Y/N: Y/N.

I nodded.

A girl with green hair stood next to Don.

???: Anyways, I'm Gilda.

I waved and Gilda gave me a warm smile.

After some time Emma gave me some Curry and we all sat down to eat. I wasn't that hungry, but I didn't want to waste it.

Emma: So Y/N..?
Y/N: Hmm?

I hummed.

Emma: Who's Angel...and Lewis?

I hesitated for a second while thinking.

Y/N: They were my friends.
Emma: What happened to them.
???: Emma don't ask thing so personal.
Emma: But..

The boy with black hair looked at me.

???: I haven't introduced myself. I'm Ray.
Y/N: Y/N.

I nodded.

Y/N: Also I don't mind.

Emma gave me her attention.

Y/N: Angel and Lewis..recently died.

I broke eye contact with Emma. Ray looked at me with wide eyes.

Emma: What happened to them?
Y/N: Well we were in the forest when a demon came chasing after us. Angel and Lewis died but I escaped.

I formed eye contact with Emma. Trying my best not to break down.

Emma: That's terrible.
Y/N: Ya.
Emma: Well if you want you can stay here.
Ray: Emma..
Y/N: I don't want to be a burden.

I knew deep down I was lying. I did want to stay.

Emma: Then I insist.

She smiled.

Y/N: You sure?
Emma: Yup.

She looked at me then at Ray.

Y/N: T-thank you.
