[Trust me] Ray X Reader

...You're dead now...

As the monster stood before me, the time seemed like everything had slowed down. I could hear the monsters rawr, and I saw as my friends prepared for battle.
It seemed I couldn't do anything, I was frozen.
It gave me deja vu. This is exactly what happened when my friends died. Losing my new friends was something I couldn't handle thinking about.
Finally the world came back to normal and I grabbed my knife. I went to the nearest tree, quickly and carelessly jumping branch to branch. I jumped on the monsters back and harshly pushed the knife in the monsters eye.

Ray: Y/N! Aim for the middle of his head!

I saw Emma pointing her bow and arrow at the monster.
Before I could get my knife out of the monsters eye, it was trying to get me off by shaking his head. This action sent me flying.

(Damn you just gonna let him yeet you like that lmaoo)

I hit a tree and fell to the ground. Coughing up blood I saw Gilda running up to me. This time Ray started to take action. I didn't see much of what was happening cause I was worried about my now broken ankle, and my other wounds.

I tried getting up again, but fell because of my ankle.

Gilda: Y/N, just relax.

I saw Don shooting his bow and arrow and directly hitting the demons other eye. Ray climbed on a branch and shot his arrow, hitting the middle of the demons head.
The demon cried in pain, but calmed down a bit, it knelt down and put it's paw thingy on his head.
I got up and took my gun out.

Gilda: Y/N..?

From the corner of my eye, I saw her look at me in fear. I reeked of blood lust, was the reason why.
Once I saw that the demon took his paw off of his head, I shot. About 3 times.
The demon stood their frozen, then slowly dropped dead to the ground.

Gilda: Y/N..?
Y/N: Do we have bandages at the tower?

I said without looking at her.

Gilda: Y-yes.
Y/N: Ok.

I tried to ignore the pain from my ankle and started walking to the demon.
Ray stopped me before I could get to it.

Ray: Y/N what were you thinking! That was so reckless!
Emma: Y/N we need to get you back to the tower and quick.
Y/N: I'm fine.

Ya sure, a broken ankle, some bruises and a new scab.

I gently pushed Ray out of my way and continued to walk to the demon. Retrieving my knife.

Y/N: Damn bastard.

I whispered under my breathe.
Only looking at the monster, a grin slowly appeared on my face.

Y/N: Looks like I don't need to come out and look for you anymore. You're dead now.

I muttered, and added a small chuckle.

Y/N: I win.

I turned away from the monster and faced my friends who all gave me worried looks.

Y/N: Lets go back.

I said trying not to limp.

Ray: Lemme help you.

He said while picking me up and carrying me bridal style.

Y/N: H-hey..I can walk on my own.
Ray: You're ankle is broken. I don't think so.

He chuckled and started walking back to the tower with the rest of the group.

*Short Time skip*

The younger children gathered around me, as Ray sat me down on his sleeping bag.
They all gave me worried looks and asked if I was ok. Some even went to go get me bandages for my wounds.
Ray sat next to me and checked for any other injuries. He checked my back, but didn't lift my shirt.
I felt his hand touch where my bra strap was and I flinched. Slightly blushing.

Ray: Does it hurt their?
Y/N: N-no.

He tiled his head a bit in confusion. Then realised what happened.

Ray: Did I..?

I nodded.

Y/N: Its fine. You didnt mean too so.

He smiled. Then whispered in my ear.

Ray: What if I did mean too?
Y/N: You bold little-

I slightly blushed and pushed his face a little while he chuckled.

Ray: Sorry.

He said while snickering.
