[Trust me] Ray X Reader

As we were all in the tower, planning and strategizing. I was sitting next to Ray obviously, without saying a word.
They were talking about how we were gonna rescue the kids at Grace Field.
I was getting kinda bored if I'm being honest. I saw Ray side eyed me and I looked at him. Then back at the group.

Emma: Ok if were going to talk about rescuing, we should attempt to help the kids in Y/N's plantation.
Y/N: Wait what?
Emma: Y/N, you love the kids at your home right?

I didnt know how to answer that question. At home I wasn't really acknowledged. Only by the older kids.

Y/N: Uh..I mean...

I looked away from the group, in awkwardness.

Norman: Going off of that answer, we should just stick to saving the kids at Grace Field.
Y/N: Exactly. Plus its more risky.
Norman: Agreed.
Ray: We can't afford failing, so we can't do anything to reckless.

I nodded.

*Short Time Skip*

When it was time to go to sleep, I stayed awake. I was outside kinda just thinking about random shit that comes through to my mind.
I heard foot steps and side eyed the person who was coming towards me. It was Ray.

Ray: Why aren't you asleep?
Y/N: Can't sleep.

He sat next to me, and I put my head on his shoulder.

Ray: I suppose we can stay out here for a little while.

I smiled. Their was a peaceful silence in the air. Until he spoke again.

Ray: Hey remember when I asked if you wanted to go to the human world?
Y/N: Ya.
Ray: I don't know. I've just been thinking about it I guess.
Y/N: Honestly same.
Ray: What would be the first thing you do their?
Y/N: I'm not sure. We don't really know what's out their in the human world.
Ray: True.

He put his arm around me.

Y/N: I wanna go. To the human world. New things to explore, new people and a new life.
Ray: Then it's settled. I promise you, that we'll go to the human world someday.

He smiled.

Y/N: I'll be waiting for that promise to come true then.

I smiled back.
Then I blushed a bit.

Y/N: I also promise that I'll stay by your side for as long as we live.

He slightly blushed a bit.

Ray: I promise the same thing too Y/N.

He kisses me on the cheek.

Y/N: I'll be honest. When we started dating, I already promised myself I would stay with you.
Ray: Is that so?
Y/N: Ya it is. You were the only one who really understood me. And you know to much about me. So your not leaving.

I playfully smiled.

Ray: Oh...what have I done.

He chuckled.

Y/N: Accidentally made a contract with the devils daughter.

I playfully chuckled.

Ray: Great. I guess this isn't that bad then.
Y/N; And if you ever leave, then I will hunt you down.
Ray: Hey wait what?!

I laughed, which made him laugh.

Ray: Fine. I guess I agree to these terms.
Y/N: Lovely.

I put my hands together, and smiled.

That night when we promise to stay with each other forever, was truly a night to remember. We stayed up almost the whole night, making jokes and laughing about the dumbest things. Emma even had to come and scold us at how loud we were being. When we finally went back inside, we had cuddled together until we let sleep consume us.
