"Omi-kun~ did ya miss me?" Atsumu smiled brightly to himself, feeling rather joyful and a little extra chaotic that Friday.

Yes that Friday, the exact Friday Sakusa had silently been looking forward to for the past week. "Obviously not, it's not like I was the one who asked to call or anything."

"Y'know, ya coulda just said yes." Atsumu let out a small huff, making Sakusa chuckle softly on the other line, they'd go over the same 'did you miss me' thing almost every call they made with one another.

"Admitting defeat isn't my style, I thought you of all people would know this." Sakusa sighed, a hint of disappointment lacing said sigh, making Atsumu pause.

"M'just playin' with ya, I thought ya of all people would know this." Atsumu repeated, holding in a laugh as he heard yet another sigh, something  more bitter this time, leave Sakusa's mouth.

"I hate you with a burning passion." Sakusa muttered, finally making Atsumu break out in a small fit of laughter, the other's poor attempt at sounding mad with him failed, if that wasn't obvious enough.

"Mhm, I love ya with a burnin' passion too Omi." The blonde on the lines tone was nothing short of playful, yet it still managed to make Sakusa's heart feel ready to beat out of his chest.

"Whatever." Sakusa rolled his eyes lightly and decided on a topic changer. "How's class been?"

"Hell in it's worst form, I can't even joke 'bout it." Atsumu sighed softly. "M'convinced my mathematics teacher ain't very fond of me."

"She's still loading you with work, isn't she?" Sakusa questioned, and unknown to him, Atsumu had nodded in response.

"Mhm, I don't know if she's tryna kill me at this point but damn does it feel like it." The sentence came out a little more bitter than usual for the blonde, which was part of the reason why Sakusa seemed to laugh afterwards.

"Eh- what're ya laughin' for?!" Atsumu was quick to question, only to have Sakusa laugh a bit more.

"Do you have the memory of a goldfish or are you just that stupid?" Sakusa questioned in response, catching Atsumu off guard and irritating him a bit.

"Oh save the insults an' get ta it Omi, I ain't got all day." The blonde spat out bitterly, tempting Sakusa to now keep his mouth shut, yet he eventually decided against it.

"Did you really manage to forget the fact I said you could give me a call if you needed help with work?" Sakusa held in a chuckle as Atsumu fell silent, he may or may not have forgotten about that.

"Of course not, what in the world woulda led ya ta that conclusion?" Atsumu let out a both playful and nervous chuckle, making Sakusa roll his eyes as a small chuckle happened to leave his mouth.

"And I was right, 'Tsumu you might want to get that checked out, your memory sucks." A small smirk made it's way onto Sakusa's face as he heard the scoff that came from Atsumu.

"My memory's fine, yer just a bully. Simple as that." Atsumu smiled and he could almost heard Sakusa rolling his eyes on the other end.

The act almost caught Atsumu in some laughter, yet the sound of someone calling his name from a distance caught his attention instead. He'd whipped his head around, half expecting to see a classmate of his, and instead was met with an irritated Osamu walking over to him.

"'Tsumu, the hell are ya doin' in here? Class is startin' soon ya dumbass, hurry up!" Osamu could've very well put him through a lecture or a fight if he felt like it, yet considering they didn't have enough time before class, he didn't see the need for it.
