"Hiccup!!!" Hiccup cringed at the loud screeching wail that Star was producing.
" What is it?" He grumbled. He was sitting in his home, trying to get ready for he day, he had only been chief for a few weeks and already many things have gone wrong.
Star came stomping into the kitchen, where Hiccup sat at the counter trying to estimate how much more fish they needed before winter feel upon them all. She slammed something down on the table hard. Making the whole house shake.
"Look at this." She snapped. Hiccup looked up from what he was doing, he was used to these kinds of actions from Star. He gasped at what he saw. There in the middle of the page was a count of how much wood they left in the reserves. And it was almost empty. Hiccup looked up into Star's crazed eyes. She nodded. Hiccup jumped from the table and grabbed his bag in the corner of the room.
"I'm going to find Astrid, then she and I can go tell the men to get more wood." Star snorted.
" Sounds like a plan, but what am I supposed to do?" Star asked. Hiccup looked to be in thought for a moment, then,
" You take Toothless and try to get some of the harder trees on the hills." Hiccup said, before running out the door. Star snorted. He only wants me to do the hard stuff because I can phase into anything I want and I can't die. Then again, I guess that makes sense. Star shrugged to herself and turned to the other corner of the room, where Toothless slept lazily. She walked over and bent down,
" Rise and shine, laddie, we got ourselves some work to do."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"What in Thor's name are you doing?" Star mumbled as she watched Toothless bound about, chasing butterflies that they had disturbed. Toothless warbled back looking for more of the creatures. They had to walk, because the last time that she had tried to fly Toothless, well let's just say it didn't end well, or without pain.Star, getting bored from the long walk up the hill to the tall trees began to talk to her split personality, 'Systems'.
How long is this gonna take?
'I don't know, few more minutes.'
That's to long.
'You walk up a 3,000 ft. Hill.'
No, I don't want to.
'Exactly.'
Feeling as through she couldn't make a valuable conversation with herself, she focused on the road ahead of her. It's a good thing she did. Star yelped in shock, as she was pulled upward by an unknown force. She looked around herself and realized Toothless had gone for one of her updated traps, two sections, hidden better, even to good for Toothless. She looked above her to see Toothless in one section of the trap, chomping down the last of the fish from the trap.
" Ah ha!" She shouted. " It works, it really does!" Toothless looked down at her from above. " What?" He warbled sadly. " Yeah, thats right! It even worked on you!" Star began to laugh as she rolled around in her net cage.
Toothless warbled again. " What?!" Star growled. Toothless growled back at her swapping her with his free tail. Star then began to realize her mistake. "Oh, right? Now what?" Toothless growled with anger, swatting Star once again.
