I can't believe Summer's coming over! I haven't seen her and her family in ages even though our kids all go to the same school.

Summer and her girlfriend got married straight after high school, although they told no one. It turns out we knew her girlfriend pretty well.

They ended up moving to New York and having kids here seeing as her girlfriend is originally from New York.

Today we're having everyone over as a sort of celebration. Henry, our eldest, just graduated high-school and Lily is in her senior year. God it's only been 5 years. Where did the time go?

Before you know it our last born, Sara is going to be out of the house. But she's only 5 so we still have time.

"FREYA! BABY COME HERE PLEASE!" I heard Rachel scream from across the house.

We've been married 17 years and I'm still as in love with her as the day we got married.

I walked over to the living room to see her putting out snacks for our arriving guests.

"Love could you please make sure the kids are ready?" she asked looking at me.

I nodded and walked over to her.

"Relax my love." I said as I hugged her.

"How can you tell me to relax when our baby is leaving for college?" she asked as she placed her hands on my hips.

I laughed and leaned toward to kiss her.

"Baby they're growing up. Now I'm gonna go change and make sure the kids are ready. And you my love, you get to welcome guests." I said as I kissed her again.

"Yes ma'am. Tonight we're shipping the kids off with Joe. I want alone time with you mama bear." she pulled me closer to her and bit my ear.

I will admit, we haven't had sexy time in a long time because we have 6 kids and I miss it so much.

We make time for our relationship like date nights and going out, the older kids being a big help with babysitting, but sexy time was out of the question because our kids are nosy.

"Yes please baby." I said kissing her neck slightly before pulling away and running upstairs.

By the time I finished getting ready myself, our guests had already arrived.

I walked into the living room to see Joe and Rachel talking about something while Alex and Summer stood by the fireplace. By the noise I knew everyone else was outside.

"Hey everyone." I said as I walked down the stairs.

Everyone turned to me and came to hug me.

I returned their hugs and went outside to find Summer's wife and all the kids.

Joe and Alex had the twins, Jackson and Jason who are 13. Julia who's 20 and they adopted another girl, Alicia. She just turned 11.

Summer and her wife adopted a lovely girl whose also heading into her senior year, her name's Elizabeth. They also have twins they adopted 2 years ago. A boy and a girl who are about 15. Their names are Diego and Jane. And Summer gave birth to a baby girl named Kirsten a year and a half ago.
