It was going to be hard now to do. With the world in lockdown, the werewolves could not meet up. So, now they are had to meet online. Some were not good, and some were.
The national leaders meet up. It would have been held in London, but of course, there were arguments on Cardiff by the Welsh and nearby the border and Edinburgh. The Scottish and people by the border.
There were six packs in London though everyone does talk to each other. Cities tend to have at least one pack, and their wing person helps cover an area.
John was the leader of all the leaders the werewolves in the UK. Well, he sort of oversaw it all. Especially if it was international law or issues. He was trying to plan how to do a meeting online. He had to make sure the others were staying in line.
He looked at all the paperwork on his desk. This was going to be complicated. He was an older guy near retirement age. Due to boredom, he let his wife dye his hair.
Today was the day a whole load of werewolves were on a video call.
John was trying to set the computer up. Almost ready.
He sat waiting for everyone. It is going to be a long meeting, he thought to himself. He logged in he saw Dan, an alpha in London name, pop up. Then Jane from Edinburgh. Then eight more came. Soon nearly everyone was on.
"Hello, hope everyone is doing well?." He chirped, "I hope everyone knowhow this call" he then said how to use it.
"So I have to check if there is are new alphas" he smiled. A few hands went up on the screen. "Ah well, come or was it a question?". One of the leaders started to speak. "Sorry I can't hear you."
"You are on mute!!" A few people called in unison. Which made a guy called Richard try and fine the unmute button.
"Sorry", apologised Richard, who managed to unmute himself. "Can you send the agenda again, please?".
"Of course", he replied. As he was just about to continue.
"Does anyone else hate this lockdown?" Kelly from Newcastle asked. An uproar of conversations happened. Well thought John, this is going to be interesting.
After fifteen minutes, he gave up trying to get a word in. Maybe what is happening now is more important, he thought to himself.
"Ok, So do people want to talk about the pandemic and the impact instead?" He asked everyone. After a few moments, there were nods of heads. Then, the chat started pinging like mad. Everyone had something to say about the subject.
It was all right until someone's mic picked up the hoovering in the background. Which made everyone stop. And the poor person was highlighted. And threw their head in shame onto the desk.
After getting to the end of the meeting, they covered the most critical issues that affected them. Which was great to do and eventually very productive. John was pleased with how it went. Then the howling began but very quietly. So people didn't hear it too severely. Soon they found out howling online affects the Internet connection. Which was very interesting for everyone. Hopefully, they would all get together. That's what John wanted.
